“Purchased as a non-running Jeep from behind a barn in Memphis TN. Rebuilt as a project during Covid lockdown. Flat-head 60hp Go Devil engine converted to 12v, and new wiring and gauges installed throughout. Disk brakes added to the front to aid in drivability, and the front seats have been extended rearward into the rear fenders to allow a little more clearance between the steering wheel and the driver. Frame is powder coated. Axles, transmission/transfer case, and motor are all powder coated then rebuilt. Body work and painting performed off-the-frame at Fenix Automotive (https://www.fenixgarage.com/), and the full underside of the body is painted the same as the top side.”

“This is titled as a 1944 Willy’s Jeep that presents well as a WW2 era Jeep and runs and drives as it should. The body is a reproduction and there are reproduction and later Willys era parts but it is still a very correct looking, rust free example and is in amazing condition and ready to enjoy. It has had a very long term elderly owner, kept in temperature controlled storage and being sold to settle an estate. “This 1944 Willys MB is finished in drab green with white military-style accents over green canvas upholstery and is powered by a 134ci inline-four paired with a three-speed manual gearbox and a dual-range transfer case. Equipment includes 16″ body-color wheels, a folding windshield, a jerry can, manually locking front hubs, and a radio receiver and transmitter unit linked with a body-mounted antenna. The truck reportedly underwent a refurbishment under previous ownership, and the seller acquired it in 2021. This Willys MB is now offered with a clean California title in the seller’s name.”
