Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1960 Jeep Forward Control FC 150 “Slow Tow” Custom build. Original 4cyl, 3sp original drive train. 4wd works as it should. Cranks and runs first try every time. Front PTO that runs the original Ramsey winch. All lights, turn signals, etc work properly. This truck is a real head turner every where it goes. Top speed is a little over 50mph. You can feel all of the factory rated 72 hp. Towing set up is just for show. This was a complete frame off tear down and rebuild. Zero rust on frame. Notice the wiring…there isn’t a rats nest hanging under the dash like many of the other ones listed. Hester works. I put a couple hundred miles on it during cruisin the coast and did the same for jeepin the coast. I own several of these but this is the most fun and I drive it the most. I am moving soon and only have room to keep a few items. Make me an offer because it has to go. Clean title in hand.”

“Described as having once been owned by an heiress to the Johnson & Johnson pharmaceutical fortune, the Jeep has a replacement speedometer and odometer that the seller says reads 765 miles, while the actual total mileage is 62,503. This two-wheel-drive Jeep wagon is reported to have a “completely refurbished” interior with Dynamat sound deadener, thick carpeting, and new interior panels. According to the seller, the Jeep has “no visible rust.””
Update: **SOLD** Was $7500. …. Navy, not Air Force like I mistakenly put down. I saw the plane on the back and didn’t look closer.
This appears to be an Navy-themed CJ-3A.

Blaine shared this restored, beautiful 2WD column shift wagon. The BaT auction ended without the reserve being reached a couple days ago at only $12,750. It seems to me to be worth more than that. It may still be for sale.

“The 1964 Willys Jeep Station Wagon is powered by a 134ci Hurricane inline-four mated to a three-speed manual transmission, and it underwent a partial refurbishment after being acquired by the seller in May 2021. Work included re-trimming the two-tone blue interior, re-plating the chrome bumpers, rebuilding the carburetor, and replacing the wiring harness, fuel pump, water pump, windshield wiper motor, shocks, and combination gauge. The truck is finished in blue with a white roof, and equipment includes 15″ steel wheels with full covers, a cowl fresh-air vent, wooden cargo floor slats, a heater, and an ashtray. This Willys station wagon is now offered with owner’s and service manuals as well as a clean Ohio title in the seller’s name.”

This is a pre-war MB Jeep. This vehicle starts and runs great with a freshly rebuilt 1942 engine.
The original engine stamp date December 1939, (not installed) will go a long with the Jeep it is complete and is a good running engine.
New canvas top, seat covers, and back fold up seat.
.30 caliber belt feed machine gun (metal replica) with mount. Side mount ammunition cans included.

“My friend bought this in 1946 surplus in a wood box. I bought it 3-4 years ago. We rebuilt the engine ,trany, transfer case, radiator, all new brakes drives and runs great 6 volt I kept it as origanal as i could I had to buy a new block from Kiser Willys but I kept the old block stamped GPW I have alot of origanal part also jack, pump, hand crank, bucket, seat springs, trailer lights by”

“1946 Willy’s CJ 2A purchased in 1979 followed by a ground up restoration in 1980 which included conversion to a 12V electrical system. A refurbished engine was installed in 1989. Well maintained and stored inside during the winter. Minimal usage during the summer with the longest drive being to the Dairy Queen in Turtle Lake, WI.
Note – milage is an estimate. Speedometer read 5,388 when purchased and replacement (used speedometer) had 10,594 on it when it was installed in 2007.”
This appears to includes a rear PTO plus gearbox and drum pulley.
