(01/09/2016) Joe spitted this odd jeep.
“1945 Willey’s Jeep just like in the TV show *M*A*S*H. Great condition – runs like a champ, and yes it can go between 55-60 mph… appraised above 10K. Call for more information.”
A look only its builder could love.
“1948 Willys Jeep has a 289 small block ford shoved in it. fairly rust free has a odd-cab but is a very complete old cj- 2 no title I bought it at a auction years ago and the projects must go”

I’m digging this funky old jeep.

(11/24/2015) It has an identity all its own.
“This 1947 Willy sits on a Chevy frame and has a 327 motor with 4 barrel carb. Tires are like new and comes with a full size spare to match. Clean inside and out, and ready for the road.”
Seth checked out this 2A-sort-of-turned-into-a-3B. He understandably decided to pass on purchasing it, but thought these photos were worth sharing.
Marty checked out this jeep yesterday. He was most curious about the hardtop and got a bunch of photos of it for us. He believes the hardtop was a custom creation, but well done. The curves and drain edge are a nice touch, too. As for the CJ-2A, there’s not much left. The seller believes there is plenty of value, but Marty smartly disagreed.
” I have a 1942 Willys Jeep civilian four-wheel-drive that is pretty rough looking on the outside but everything is there motor tranny running gear everything complete with a set of extra leaf springs all four an extra radiator add an extra gas tank all stock all original I’ve done some checking on the Jeep Willys and I know what it’s worth in the condition that exam no reasonable offer will be refused please come look I need to get them out of here”
This is probably just a modified DJ-5, but given the rear does’ have the standard wheel well on the outside (it covers the wheel, which is unusual). May be something unique here.
“If your interested in a project. Then this is perfect.
No title. No pink. Bill of sale only. Should be fun for a
Ranch or use it like a golf cart. Automatic transmission.
4 cylinder engine. 2 wheel drive only. $800 Obo.
Its was used by a university, then on a farm. ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6500.
How about this unusual CJ.
“This is a custom built 46 Willys CJ 2a. has a 46 Ford Cab custom built into the body. Engine is completely rebuilt. new brakes. New clutch, new master cyl. This is a very unique willlys that was custom built 20 years ago. It has been driven appx 1000 miles since built. One of a kind !!”
UPDATE: Craig found a video about this auction.
This was auctioned off on Saturday, November 7th. It has some interesting modifications. The jeep was owned and auctioned by the city of Tulsa.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000.
(12/31/2014) “1941 willy’s jeep drive train built on wooden body. Titled and legal for road. Lights even work!!!”
Old images before the 2008 sale:
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3500.
Looking for that unusual four wheel drive “jeep”?
“not every one has a 46 jeep frame with a model-A body , hand made fiberglass body, hi- low range 4X4 , front hubs, in & out lock, 4 cyl flat head , single throte carb , electric fuel pump, great heater, electric engine fan, 12 volts system , with alternator – reg. built in,”
UPDATE II: This *might* have evolved into a scam. The seller agreed to sell to one buyer and provided directions to get the vehicle, but now is avoiding the buyer’s calls.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $900
Here is an odd one I spotted on Facebook. It reminds me of Bob’s odd Jeepster-like vehicle.
“This is a very strange “Jeep like” vehicle that is not a Jeep. I was told that it was possibly a specialty vehicle built in the 60s and that it originally had a 4 or 6 cylinder engine that the previous salvage yard owner removed and sold. 2 wheel drive. No seats or top frame. It has full length curved metal running board fenders that Jeeps never had. It also has a center console that housed the shifter. It was originally painted a coral pink color so the possibility exists that it was a resort shuttle vehicle. It is NOT, repeat NOT, a Jeep Surrey model! They look nothing like this “thing”. No engine or transmission. I saved it from a salvage yard over 10 years ago. It has 14 inch “A.J. Foyt” mag wheels that probably are original. Rusty but restorable. Buy it for $900 firm, fix it up, and have the only one out there.”
