“1959 Jeep Willys Classic. Excellent condition. Notably mostly orig. stock condition and virtually no rust anywhere. Runs great. 3 on the tree. Gets attention and stops the crowds every time we take it out. Hardly any 50 Willys in the country still on the road or for sale, especially one this original and in this shape. Won best in show every time it was entered. Have too many toys and not enough garage space. Also selling my custom Harley and 2 pristine Mercedes convertibles if interested. If they sell then Im keeping my Willys. Price will go up as summer approaches. “
Steve’s got this M-38 for sale.

Also have the original 16 inch military rims painted white like pintle. This is a solid jeep great daily driver, or easy candidate for restoring to original”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $9500.
“For sale is a very nice example of an unmolested early Willys Jeep CJ5. Its a 1957 with just over 14,000 original miles.. Starts, runs, drives, and stops as it should. This would be an incredible piece to do a full restoration on or just enjoy the originality and patina of it and hop in and go just like it is. That was my original intention on this one, just to address a few of the minor rust spots and enjoy it just like it is and was meant to be.”
UPDATE: This has been relisted at BAT (not sure if it is by the original or new owner). Thanks to Chad for spotting it.
“This 1972 Jeep CJ6 was reportedly purchased new from Sanford Motors in Tacoma, Washington and is said to have later remained in storage for 31 years with its second owner. Power comes from a 304ci V8 paired with a three-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case, and the body is finished in President Red with a white soft top over a black interior. The seller acquired the Jeep five months ago, and service in that time is said to have included a new brake light switch, an oil change, and a clutch adjustment. This CJ6 shows approximately 46k miles and is offered with a custom auxiliary fuel tank, a spare set of tires, removed parts, a service manual, and a clean Washington State title in the seller’s name.“
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $19,990.
Ed is regretfully selling his beloved beautiful 1959 wagon.
“For Sale, a 1959 Willys Overland Utility Wagon.
Willys Overland is the God Father of the American Jeep.
It is a 6 cylinder, 3 speed manual, dual range, posi rear end. 4×4.
It has 16,000+ on it. When I got it it still had the original tires on it. The spare tire is original and never been used. I still have them and they will go with the Willys.
It is 12 volt original, it actually had a radio which I had updated. It is a workhorse, it likes 50 mph due to the 4.38 rear end in it.
It is a good award winner at shows if you like car shows. I always get a thumbs up when I drive it.
It is very original and an easy car to work on. Even has the original straw type headliner which is in very good shape. I will be adding pics the next few days. You might of seen it around the Petersburg – Springfield area.
Open to a reasonable offer as well.
I replaced all the fluids, dropped the gas tank and had it cleaned, replaced the bushings in the springs, rebuild the carb, new brake lines and master cylinder, reground all the lights, has an Optima battery in it, had the wiper motor rebuilt, dropped the transmission and had it checked out. Plus a lot of little things.”
Hasn’t been started in 15 years.

“This is definitely one of the nicest restored willys Jeeps you will find. It’s been completely gone through from top to bottom. All new everything and runs like a clock!! “1953 Willys military jeep m38a1
I’ve owned this jeep for 2 years , was restored 15 years ago by previous owner, i’ve only driven it a few times to car shows & parades, currently plated & insured. I don’t drive it enough to keep it. It’s a 7 on a scale from 0 to 10.
A lot was done when restored,
new tires (5)
new complete wiring harness
has canvas top on it now but has complete new full canvas included ( top, doors, sides )
military paint with military markings
new drive line parts, tie rods, u-joints, brake lines, radiator
many take off parts that were saved when replaced
new batteries with battery tender & master disconnect switch”
This has a Washington State title.

“1955 M170 Front Line Field Ambulance – extended version of the M38A1, very rare and hard to find military vehicle (approximately 4200 ever produced). Manufacture date: 3/55, Serial Number: 11747 (data plate appears original), titled in Washington State.
Engine: 24 volt (uncertain if the block has original serial number), engine needs work, it runs but does smoke and leaks some oil (will run up to 45mph).
Reproduction top, sides, back and doors. Repainted about 8 years ago, always garage kept approximately the last 10 years.”
Appears in good shape.

“Up for sale is a totally restored 1950 Jeep Willys CJ3A. Stand out from the Wrangler crowd with this Willys. You will get more attention with this old girl than you would expect. This is a total off frame restoration. Everything has been gone through, and I mean everything. There is nothing that needs to be done to this beauty. The restoration brought her back to her original glory including new wiring and 6V electrical system. Starts on the first crank and runs like a brand new sewing machine. They don’t make them like this anymore.
The pictures tell the story! Perfect for cruising around town, to the beach, dinner, shopping, or anywhere where you are seeking fun getting there. I have $16,000+ invested in this restoration and over 1000 hours in labor that isn’t included in that number. It’s really hard to find these in this good of condition. I have a new Jeep project I’m working on and need the space. I hate to see this one go! Clean Florida title in hand.”
Appears in good shape.
https://helena.craigslist.org/cto/d/clancy-1953-willys-jeep-4wd-pickup/6925585304.html
“1953 Willys 4WD Pickup. Good running classic. It is mostly original. We replaced the cracked engine block, added an electric fuel pump, went to a cartridge air filter, installed electric windshield wipers and upgraded to an 8 volt system and battery. There is an aftermarket overdrive and the engine was totally rebuilt about 8500 miles (10 years ago). There are new brakes, shocks and pitman. The transmission leaks and needs periodic topping off. There is a minor (nuisance) oil pan leak. The bed has been sprayed and it is a nice smooth running old Willys.”

“1950 Willys M38 military jeep. These jeeps were used during the Korean war era. Near perfect condition. Original 134L engine. No bondo. All metal. Four wheel drive works”
UPDATE: Status Unknown. Was $14,650.
This looks like a nice wagon. The hub caps are actually for early wagons (probably these aftermarket ones), but they do look good on it.
“It has the original flathead hurricane 6 engine and 3-speed on-the-column. It was delivered on 3/5/1959 to the original owner in Tacoma. I bought it from a widow and started fixing it up almost 20 years ago. At that time, we did new paint inside and out; new upholstery; and refinished the woodwork. Then it basically has been stored in the garage since then. My wife said it has to go, so recently it got a new exhaust system, battery, carburetor, distributor, plugs, fuel filter. Bumpers re-chromed. Tuned up and brakes checked. The mechanic says it is running, shifting and braking well. Undercarriage in good shape. Odometer likely turned over 100K
Very straight body. Have the hood ornament and a few cosmetic parts/pieces for buyer. Also have the original Owner’s Manual and Service Records, along with the receipts for all the work I’ve had done on it. Must see to appreciate. Face-to-face transaction, cash only, no trades. Do not contact me unless you are a serious buyer with the cash.”

“1950 Willys Jeepster, Limited Production over model years 1948-1950. This is the original and rare Flathead Six-Cylinder Model with a 3-speed column shift transmission with Overdrive. I am the third owner, the second owner from SF had it for 50 years. Always CA. Registered. Car was restored in Modesto in 1993 and again in 2005 with receipts for all work. Less than 1,000 miles since restoration in 1993 (sorry, but true). Electric Fuel Pump, Remote Oil Filter (original cannister type included), Directional Signals (not offered with the car when new, added later). https://boulder.craigslist.org/cto/d/broomfield-1949-willys-jeep-cj3a/6920981029.html
“For Sale: 1949 Willys Jeep CJ3A. $25,000.XX. (Twenty Five Thousand dollars). This is an all original Willys that was meticulously restored over the course of 2 years by myself. It was a frame off restoration down to every last nut and bolt. There is no bondo or fiberglass or rust on this baby. Everything works perfectly as it was originally designed to work and operate. The engine was completely rebuilt, the transfer case, the clutch all rebuilt.
The electrical harness was replaced with a new exact duplicate. The exhaust is an exact duplicate of the original custom made in stainless steel. The original carburetor was rebuilt and it starts on the coldest of winter days with the original 6 volt electrical system. The battery sits in its proper location in a case that looks like a vintage battery but actually contains a modern jell cell battery; one of the only minor alterations to the original. The battery has a turn disconnect on the cable so that when not in use I leave it hooked up to a 6 volt drip charge.
UPDTE: Status Unknown. Was $14,500.
Appears in good shape.
“Restored. New engine. Has mock 50Cal and new Canvas top. Less than 2000 miles on the engine. Won many car shows.”
