“Selling the ole girl. Professionally restored 1948 Willys CJ2A in excellent condition. Roughy 500 miles since restoration. Perfect vehicle for parades, shows, special events or just a nice Sunday drive. TX antique vehicle registration.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5200.
Thanks to Chris for sharing this one. Looks like a good price.
“restoration. The engine and transmission were rebuilt and the frame sand blasted and painted. Since I have owned it for the last 5 years I have also rebuilt the steering box and linkage along with various other fixes. The tires are only a few years old and have plenty of life left. The carburetor has been rebuilt as well.
While doing the drive train rebuild I brought this jeep back to a column shift which it was originally. I drive this jeep all the time and it has been tremendous fun. Only reason for selling is that I have another one and do not have room for two.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
Looks like a good price. Needs a fuel tank.
“48′ Willy’s cj2a. Runs and drives excellent, all lights and horn work. Body is decent. Does need a new fuel tank as it leaks. Have title.”
This sure looks beautiful. Might not be a bad price given its condition.
“Rare 1969 Jeepster Convertible, 8701, only 136 made this last year of production. Good interior and exterior, except typical Jeepster dents on hood. Garaged in Palm Springs, California.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $17,500.
Looks good. It does lack top bow holders, but that’s a minor quibble.
“This jeep has had a complete frame off restoration restoring it to its original like-new condition starting with reproduction tub, fenders, tailgate, windshield, hood and grill all purchased from Willys Overland in Toledo, OH. All drive train components, springs, transmission, engine, electrical, etc were either professionally rebuilt or replaced with new old stock or repro parts-all receipts come with purchase. Body and paint work were done by an auto body professional in a authentic Luzon Red with harvest yellow rims and accent paint.
This vehicle has been driven less than 500 miles since its restoration was completed in 2009. I’m regretfully selling this since I have 4 others and I need to part with some due to tackling a major house renovation. This jeep starts quickly, runs like new and is ready for the beach, mountains, ranch, farm or wherever you want to enjoy it. I have outfitted it with new lap seat belts in front and rear seats which were not not originally installed in these jeeps.”
Looks good.

Matt spotted this nice looking Ford GP.
“This 1941 Ford GP (#9223) is an early model Series 1, one of 1500 from the earliest series. Restored over 30 years ago by an active member of the MVCC (Military Vehicle Collectors of California), it was sold to the most recent Montana owner over 20 years ago. It is powered by the original spec 120 cubic inch 4-cylinder engine with a 3-speed manual transmission and includes a matching military trailer. This GP checks all the boxes with correct top, trailer with canvas, all of the blinkers , reflectors, extinguisher, flashlight, engine crank handle, and correct lighting.
The correct instructional tags are mounted on the dash, and the combo gauge is center mounted. There are 2341 showing on the odometer, but the true mileage is unknown.
The genuine GP engine # 9547 and drivetrain were rebuilt at the time of restoration. The seller says that it runs and drives great, and smokes a little when cold but clears up once warm. An oil service was completed five miles ago and coolant was also flushed. Brakes and steering operate as designed, and the engine does drip some oil after driving.
Wayne’s got his nice looking M-38A1 for sale. His number is 530 518 4441

“Very clean, and near original 1948 Willy CJ2 , engine was rebuilt some years back and it runs sweet & quiet, very low miles/hours. only used during deer season for the majority of its life. Parked indoors and covered. Runs great – all original engine, trans is tight, original 6 volt system with new battery, no major dents or impacts, paint is nice, suspension is good and OEM, has military tires and I have 2 spares. This is a very rare find, it is NOT modified or torn up. These are tough to find in stock condition these days, could be used as is, or an excellent restoration vehicle for full on resto. (more fun to use though). NO TRADES”

(10/16/2018) Rob’s selling his nice looking 3A named “Scout” with a set of beautiful Free-Lock hubs.
“his CJ-3A, affectionately known as “Scout,” was born in 1950. Having spent the majority of its life on a mountain property in Mariposa, CA; this Willys Jeep has always been 100% free from any rot, cancer, or structural rust.
After a lengthy search for the right era-stock 3A, in 2012 I purchased Scout from its second California owner. Shortly thereafter, I found another unit that had a freshly rebuilt drivetrain (less than 20 hours), so I purchased it too and combined our solid rust-free Scout with the fresh heart and axles of the donor.
As I have a hard time leaving well enough alone, your new Willys will come with $10,723.51 in parts receipts, including the new “Herm the Overdrive Guy” 30% overdrive! Yes, everything works as designed. Every gauge, headlight, taillight, and parking light; even the factory high beam indicator and map light glow proudly on the dash. The transmission and transfer case shift with a positive engagement rarely found in Jeeps of this era. The engine starts right up, hot or cold, and purrs like a kitten at 180 degrees; always. The custom receiver hitch is ready to haul your boat to the pond. And if worse comes to worse, the Bellview/Warn winch powered by a custom 6/12v battery system stands at the ready.
