1962 FC-170 New Jersey **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: FC150-FC170-M677 • TAGS: , .

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8500.

Looks in good shape.

“1962 Jeep FC-170 pickup. Runs and drives well. I bought it just a few weeks ago with plans for a major off-road build-up, but found another one at a better starting point for what I’m doing – this one is set up perfectly for someone who wants excellent bones for restoration that’s already a good driver. Frame is totally solid. Priced at what I bought it for. Just can’t afford to have more than one around right now.

Has the 226 cu in Super Hurricane engine with T90 transmission (3-speed on the floor) and D18 transfer case. In the last two years has had – replaced rims, tires, muffler, pistons, rings, radiator, plastic gas tank (original tank is included but has a leak if you want to restore), wheel cylinders for brakes, painted, vac wipers work! Side windows each have a crack, but they’re flat glass and very easy to replace. Windshield and rear window are good. Extra windshield included. Clear NJ title.”

(07/28/2015) Looks parade ready.

“1955 Korean War M38A1 Willy’s Jeep that is in excellent condition. I have receipts, work order, maintenance logs going back nearly 20 years. This jeep has had a lot of time, effort and money invested into it over the years including a full engine overhaul (at a cost of nearly 3.5K– nothing was skimped. Vehicle has approx 2700 miles since engine overhaul. I currently drive the jeep when weather permits in parades and military funerals. Gages, horn, lights and has new spark plugs, wires, new radiator and has a very hard to find military antenna. This is a 24 volt system that has 2 new military batteries. This is not a frame off restoration but everything else is 100 percent. All new canvas on seats and top. There is an AM/FM/CD radio
with 9″ speakers mounted in two ammo cans in the rear of the jeep. Five new military tires and tubes”

Nice looking Jeepster.

“This is an exceptionally well preserved 1950 Jeepster. Original everything, but runs well and starts easily. If you are looking for a classic you can have fun with now, or if you want to restore it to a “like new” condition, this is the Jeepster for you. Comes with the original radio and heater. Floor matts appear to be original.

I can’t tell if the paint is original, but it does appear that the original color was red (Firewall is red) . The cowl is black, and looks great, but does not seem to be original. Top and side curtains are usable, but need to be replaces. The body is very solid. I can’t find evidence of repair, bond-o, rust issues, etc.

I don’t know a lot about the car’s history. It most recently had a Kansas title, and I was told it spent many years in use as a parade car.
