(08/24/2017) Looks like a solid vehicle, but the engine smokes some and the top may need a repair.

“Runs well, shifts fine and is fun to drive. The 4 wheel drive engages ( have not used ). Paint is likely more than 20 or years old. Old bondo in rear corners, some rust in floor braces, front floor has repairs, some bubbling under old paint (Orig color was green), small dents, but for a 62 year old unrestored Willys Jeep it isn’t bad. This is a Willys that has been used it’s entire life (not a garage queen). Has a North Carolina (VIN Number) bonded title. So it is ready to drive or restore.
Body fair. Runs fine. Fun to drive. Brakes, Lights, Turning Lights, Horn, Emergency Brake all work. Always attacks attention. Priced Right. Speedometer not working right. 63434 probably not correct.”

“This is a great running 1946 Jeep Willys. Body is in great shape with very minimal rustish spots. Comes with the soft top in the pictures. Converted to 12v, new starter, new break master cylinder and I am currently changing out the fuel tank to finish with the must does to sell it at this price. “you are looking at a 1956 Willys wagon that was with the same family since new, they lived in California and would drive the wagon to Yosemite national park back in the day. When the father passed away it was put in storage until 2007 when randy the son started the restoration, it was brought to Texas two years ago. The goal was to make it look good and run down the road with no problems. It was repainted with all the glass removed, new bearings and brakes, converted to 12 volt from 6, electric windshield wipers added along with a new heater system. I have a 2 page list, it tells the story on what was done. The factory gauges all work, and the mileage is believed to be actual. the drives window is cracked, it has some oil leaks, the original am radio is in a box in the back”
