Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Engine block built by Ford and matches frame and original data plates. The frame is the early MB frame with the Ford ID number stamped into it which proves this is a very early production. This Jeep has been assembled as close to factory standards as possible. The assembly could be classified as, “Built To Museum Quality” standards. The work was performed by Mike’s Military Motor’s in Santa Rosa, CA.
Date of Delivery: 3/25/1942
The accoutrements to this Jeep are:
1) the complete Capstan style winch and Tandem Tow bar assembly
2) period correct WW2 Jeep radio assembly BC 659 all in working order.
3) this Jeep has all of the original style Horse-hair spring seats with all new canvas.”

“1953 Willy jeep. Came off a farm in Lancaster county PA. The second owner rebuilt the engine, front springs, clutch, new wire harness, gas tank, reconditioned harrison heater(works great), new brakes,all done by Walcks in Bowmanstown Pa. New seat covers, half top with doors. Mechanically, it is 100%. the second owner was a purist as the body was left pretty much original(still 6 volt). I have never had to jump or even charge the battery while it sat for over 6 months at times. Have a complete plow set-up from a 1948 CJ2 if interested.”

“This is a 1954 near mint condition M38A1 Willys Jeep. This is the waterproof model of the Willys Jeep. It is in fantastic condition and except for a few upgrades and/or repairs that have been done over the years it is in original condition. For instance – New canvas top, starter, brake light on the back, overdrive was installed ( a $2,000+ addition), seat belts added etc.

“1953 Willys Jeep CJ-3B, all original, flat-fender, first year of the “Hurricane Four” 4 cyl F-head motor. Original 6-volt electrical system, original oil-bath air cleaner, original vacuum motor windshield wiper. It has spent its whole life in the Oregon High Desert east of the mountains, so there is no significant rust, and was driven only locally for the last 50 yrs, so it has not been “put through the wringer.” Was driven occasionally and parked in back of the house for many years, and has been in a garage for the last several. It could probably be driven away, but has rarely been run for the last 15 years or so. Probably has gas varnished up in the fuel system, and should have a hi-detergent oil run a short while before an oil change, etc. It should probably be taken to its new home via a trailer for face-lift and/or restoration. Still connecting up ebrake.. just waiting for new cable I bought.. thats coming in the mail.. and otherwise i have all the stuff.. just needs to be done… the drum and all that is there and ready to be connected… as is the handle… Just needs line connected..

The jeep was rear-ended.
“1946 CJ2A Willys Jeep- This jeep was 90% fully restored all original to vin number range when I was rear ended last year. The frame is cracked and body has been damaged but can be repaired. I have a second frame that I am including if you are looking to do a frame off restore, but otherwise the current frame is repairable. Want to see somebody put this jeep back on the road rather than sitting idle in my garage.
Also comes with several boxes of extra parts, gaskets, new seat back cushions etc, a roll bar designed specific to cj2a.
