About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

The seller said that this has coil springs between the leaf springs and frame. There is some bondo and rust. The tub is resting on some lumber that’s wedged between the frame and tub. It has sat since the 1980s. The engine might be a GPW/MB. It runs and shifts ok, but needs new brakes, master and tires at the very least.
“Original Jeep Willys CJ2A with all original parts. 6 volt system, all glass is good. Motor was replaced in 1974 and was military surplus remanufactured engine. Less then 5000 miles on the engine. Last plated in 1987. Been garage stored with plans to restore until just last week. Great candidate for restoration. Drove from storage to current location. Starts right up. Needs brakes, tires, gas tank repaired and a battery. Will need to be trailered to new home. ”

“I have a 1942 Willy MB project. I do not have the time or space to complete this the way I would like it. I have all the components, hood, grille, fenders, tub, frame, wheels/tires, seat, fuel tank, steering shaft and wheel, axels, motor and transmission. The frame is from a 1947 CJ-2 I was modifying it to be like the 1942 frame. This is where I have run into trouble the frame is setup for the T-90 transmission not the T-84 I want to have on it. I also have another motor. It is title and registered. Engine does run. Everything is apart right now waiting for the right person to complete. ”

This jeep has a 500 CI big block engine. Stomp that pedal down a few times and that soft ’46 frame ought to start twisting pretty good.

Turn key ready for the hunting lease, ranch or rural property. Also, street legal for parades, car shows, etc.. This 1946 Willys-Overland Jeep CJ-2A is the 2nd year for the “Civilian Jeep”. I have worked this Jeep over and it runs like a champ with an updated 12 volt electrical system. Jeep drives smooth and tight. The transmission and transfer-case shift smooth and front axle locking hubs work great. Jeep comes with another set of wheels/tires, rear seat, rifle rack and other spare parts including new water pump, muffler, fuel level sensor, etc.. Continue reading →

“1947 Willys Jeep CJ2A. My Dad had this jeep since the 50s and I bought it from him. It ran well when I stopped driving her in 2005 but I have not had it running since. Wouldn’t take much to get her going. Have clear title in hand. Needs new gas tank/battery/tires. Could be a great little jeep again.”
“1952 jeep willys took it apart to restore only did some lost motivation ran great when I parked it. 4wheel works great . I have everything in the tub and ontop of chassis”
