The starting bid on this is only $1200.  It looks pretty good and likely has the 30 spline offset rear differential.  Those rims are pretty rare, too.

“I have for sale a 1956 CJ5 jeep willys, it has been painted and partially restored by an individual. Has been converted from 6 volt system to 12 volt, has newer bikini top. The 4 wheel drive works, so it could be converted into a rock crawler. It is road ready, but does need brake work and lighing work. The tires are in fair condition. The interior DOES NOT have the original seats. The frame is solid with no rust. Transmission shifts fine and runs great. It is a 3 speed with reverse maual transmission. Has original ignition in it. “1962 Willys Jeep. Easily restoreable . No visible rust, runs well, original 4 cyl engine, few owners, titled. Has full windshield frame. Good seats & interior. Needs brakes. Worn tires & PTO needs work and crack in windshield glass. But it’s in fine shape for an antique! Must see!”

Slight sag in a rear . . .

“all original willys jeep owned by same owner for 25 plus years. rebuilt motor with very low miles on it. pto trans with winch in back. everything works 4×4 winch all gears runs and drives good. the winch is strong, easily stronger than my warn 9000. the bad news is it used to have an A frame on the back that’s why it has the winch in the back and it was used to lift stuff to heavy so the frame and body are bent down in the back. the frame is bent down from the axel back. the body is pretty rough. this would be a great parts car or a desert toy. it will go anywhere. windshield not cracked. wiper works. still 6v set up. lots of original parts on it worth money. the pto trans works great and shifts smooth. have an original spare tire as well. have clean title and it is currently ca registered. brand new battery. email call or text, in email put jeep 4×4 in subject or i will not answer do to spam. 8-0-5,509,-3322. i work on weekdays till 3:30 so if you call before then i will not pick up but feel free to leave a message. might be interested in a trade for jeep Cherokee, Comanche, jet-ski, etc.. lemme know what you got with a picture. i get pic messages.”

It runs and drives, but only on 3 cylinders.  I just seems kind of sad.

“1957 willys jeep with myers plow, not power angle. Koenig hard top. Decent condition, does have some holes in body and floor boards on driver and passenger floor. Only running on three cylinders, needs some restoration to make road worthy. Stars right up. under neath was all greased at one time. Tires are retreads with good tread. Too many projects,have to get rid of some. Taking offers.”
