Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The seller claims this jeep only has 5100 miles. It looks pretty stock, but hard to believe the miles are that low.

Clean out the fuel line and replace the fuel pump and you might have a running CJ-5 for under $1000.

I like this old CJ. There’s no reserve, so that initial price is a good one for this.

The engine is out, but this sure looks like a good price.
“1962 Jeep CJ-5 Willys. NO RUST (even on floor) I think it might even have the orginal paint. Currently has engine remove (I was going to do an engine swap). Comes with orginal engine (probally needs rebuild). I have owned and used the Jeep for a few years around my property. Transmission, transfer case, and axles are in great shape. There are many different engines that can be swaped into it or you can rebuild the orginal 134 f-head. CALLS ONLY ON EMAILS.
Here’s a nice looking CJ-5 for a good price just a few miles from my folk’s place.

That’s one dirty windshield! The jeep looks rust free on the outside. This might be a good deal if the jeep will start.

It looks like a fine jeep for only $2200. I’m not sure the ‘crawler’ poses are the best way to sell this jeep.
