Tom shared this low-mileage CJ-5. It has a documented history. Seats have been changed to cloth (read story), so at first they look worn, but it’s just the type of material. Overall, it seems in great shape.

“This CJ5 is all original. It has only 39,359 miles. Runs very well and has been driven a couple times a month. The original owner was a lady. I bought it from her in 2014. I replaced the radiator, fuel tank, shocks, leaf springs, heater core, tires, and gave it a tune-up. I only did this to maintain this jeeps integrity and dependability going forward.

Paint is excellent and shines as new. There is some noticeable wear after 43 years. I have taken it to local car shows and everyone is amazed at its condition. The hardcore car enthusiasts tell me over and over to do nothing more to this jeep. It has a documented story, it’s in rare shape, and is shows and runs amazingly well.

This is perfect for the individual wanting a daily driveable jeep or just a weekly joy ride without having to work on it first. It needs nothing mechanically. It is sound and fun to just putt-putt in.

I have a brown soft top, roll bar, rear mounted spare tire rack and owners manual. I also have the poster I had made telling a brief history of the jeep that I use at the shows.”

Many unique Tuxedo Park features including rare column shift 3-speed, padded dash and fender wells and curved chrome bumper. Kelsey-Hayes “Aristocrat” chrome wheels as dealer add-on. “Selling my 1955 Willys CJ-5 Clean title in my name currently on planned non-op with no fees. All original and unmolested! No rust! The jeep spent most of its life on a ranch in Northern California. Freshly painted and “semi-restored”. The only changes to the Jeep are a new Walck’s wiring harness, 12-volt conversion, 94 AMP alternator, new locking hubs, the original radiator (yes still in) has a new three row copper core and works perfect, new windshield and rubber, new brake lines, master and slave cylinders, new u-joints, front leaf springs rebuilt by Atlas Spring to original specs, new reproduction mechanical fuel pump, and new seats and Mastercraft lap harnesses. “1960 Willy’s Jeep is mostly all Original, New Electric Fuel Pump, New OEM Muffler, New (4) Brake Cyl’s and Shoes, Recent Oil Change w / Synthetic Oil. Speedometer not working (mileage unknown). It has had a valve job in 1989. I installed two 3 Point Safety Belts, Turn Signal Switch, and Drivers side electric windshield wiper. The top is a makeshift top I constructed just to keep the rain and snow off but needs to be upgraded. I am asking 7200.00 OBO .
I purchased this Jeep last year and I am the second owner.
I am selling it because I am 74 yo and it is difficult for me to get in and out of it. Also I am a large man and I am not comfortable driving it.
I just returned from Moab Ut. and the Jeep is still on the trailer.”
