Looks like a thoughtful restoration.
“I’m selling my restored 1946 Willys Jeep CJ-2A. The only reason I’m selling is to fund another purchase. It has had a frame off restoration back around 2006. This is a early production, matching numbers jeep, more desired by collectors. It even has the original serial numbered engine. Every last part was gone through and refurbished or replaced. It has been restored as original as possible down to the original body and wheel colors, 6 volt electrical system, and cloth covered wiring. The body was just repainted very recently. It has a show quality finish.
I have only put 4000 miles on the jeep since the restoration. It runs great and I wouldn’t be afraid to drive it anywhere.
I’m tired of people trying to scam me. I will not respond to text messages or email until you call and I know you are a real person. I do not have voice mail, but I will return your call if I miss it.”
Buy the jeep and get a John Denver cassette for free!

“Was running a year ago but starter went bad and I haven’t changed it yet. It doesn’t have any breaks. ”
Has a variety of updates. It also has an Oregon title.
“Up for sale is my 1948 Willys CJ-2A. Recent OD green paint, new soft top, Ramsey Winch, Dana 44’s front and rear with 5.38 gears. It has a 3.8 Buick V6 odd fire, 4 speed trans and Dana 20 twin stick transfer case. The interior is good and it has a Caddy tilt wheel. New 33×12.50×15 Mickey Thompson MTZ radials. It has a new wiring harness which needs terminal ends that come with to finish it up. All new gauges, and keyed ignition plus wiper motors. Brand new double fold down windshield. New fender flares and suspension including shocks. The engine ran strong and just needs the wiring finished. The rear Dana 44 is a full floating assembly. A Detroit locker was installed in the rear and a Tru-Trac in the front. This is a solid Willys, no rust. Current Oregon registration and clean title.”
Needs some work. Has some mods.

Has a half Cab: probably a Sears model they were very popular back in the day.
Front Hubs: “WARN”
New Steering wheel”
Hasn’t run in five years.
“1946 Willy’s Jeep with Title. Was running when it was parked about five years ago. Engine is still free. Have Title. VIN# J76896
Buyer pays $55.00 Documentation Fee, Taxes, Title, Transfer and Registration Fees at time of pickup. Driver’s License and proof of Insurance required.”
Needs some work and has some civilian parts, but there’s still enough here to check it out.
“1942 Willys MB body on CJ2A frame. Runs and drives well. All it would need to be a driver is the drivers side rear blinker replaced front drivers blinker and the brakes need adjusting. Body is quite solid for a 74 year old Jeep. Engine runs and shift through the gears but could probably use a tune up. Can be towed easily using the attached tow bar even at freeway speeds. ”
