All depends on how you drive! This is a postal jeep RIGHT HAND drive! It has the Ford inline six engine! 

Interior sprayed bedliner, new headliner, new exhaust, new brakes on all 4 wheels, new emergency brake cable. This jeep is ready to deliver mail on a daily basis.

You could do something really cool with it for hunting or a hot rod. Good clean title ready to drive daily.

“This 78 Jeep delivers rain, sleet, or shine lol. This thing is pretty AWESOME!! It has a bullet proof Inline 6 and TorqueFlite Automatic, the chassis is not rusted and the body isnt either. It runs great and all original. It has a few additions such as a little fan type A/C unit and a Pioneer CD player. Really clean considering the age it is in great shape. The question was asked..How many miles? the answer given…All of them, hehe. No seriously it has 488k miles and will still deliver at its peak performance. Maintained very well and I do have an additional one that quit and doesnt run and I will do a package deal for both. Any more concerns please text me.”

This looks in good shape. The seller’s explanation for the left hand DJ-5C makes sense. Anyone know if that’s true?

“I have a very rare 1974 jeep DJ-5C. This is not a cut up postal jeep but built on the same platform. They only made 2000 of these passenger models with left hand drive not a right hand postal jeep. 3 seats with seat belts. Motor is a strait 6 3.8L with a automatic transmission. 4×2 . Runs excellent and shifts smooth. New army green paint. Come by and see at any time.
90k original miles. Good tires. Currently registered and no need for smog. I do have the front hitch to pull behind RV or truck”

“1975 post office jeep, with right hand drive. 6 cyl, auto. Good glass all he way around, lights and wipers work. Has 2 seats, with seatbelts. I drive this jeep daily to work. Carb rebuilt a month ago. brake hydraulics rebuilt or replaced all the way around. Manual brakes and manual steering. Will consider trade for an older Jeep. CJ-2 or CJ-3. Call after 4. I’ve never seen a DJ-5 with a half-cab. It is left-handed steering, too.

“Rare Model 1969 DJ-5A Kaiser/Willys Jeep .. GM motor, stock automatic trans and other internal parts…Last year before AMC took over… easy to get parts for… Highway geared, Posi Track Rearend, Stock Auto Trans, New Tires and Drives Fine. Two Wheel Drive.. set up to Tow a Boat or Camper or be Towed behind your RV… Really a tuff little rig .. I would Drive it to Oregon, just as is!
Odometer shows 61,000 Stock 2.5 “IRON DUKE” 4 Cylinder motor. This is an Arizona jeep and not rusted, like the ones I’ve seen in Oregon. Clear/Clean Title in hand.. If you want to Test Drive or have questions”

Looks good for the price.

“Selling my dj5 ice cream truck. It’s super fun to drive and gets a lot of looks. Still has the pa speaker and ice cream music. It only has 112,xxx miles and runs good. Interior has one seat, and plenty of room to add seats or put for a cooler for ice cream. Has an air trumpet horn, and a high amp battery. Could use new brakes and new gaskets on door seal, and heater needs fixed. It is right hand drive and takes a little to get used to but definitely is fun.”
