“Perfect hunting wagon! No title comes with Bill of sale 4 Cylinder Starts and drives”
Seller has listed this as a 1941, but clearly it’s an M-38. The sides have been modified.

“1941 Willys jeep with five digit serial number. One of the first 10,000 made that year. Serial number denotes it was made for the Marine Corp. MC66582. It has been converted to 12 volt and was running since conversion. Motor turns freely and will not take much to get running.”
Looks to be an M-38 with a CJ-3A windshield.

“52 Willy’s Jeep. Clear title. Rolling chassis needs new body tub. New frame and body parts. Original transmission and front/rear ends. New suspension, wheels, tires, steering box etc. Buick iron V6 at engine builder. Finish motor yourself or have him build to your spec.”
Dan’s selling this M-38 which was used inside an NC factory for years.

“This 1952 M-38 Jeep Willys is in very good condition. I use it locally on Cape. It has a tow bar to pull behind another vehicle and a basket to fit into the trailer hitch for carrying coolers, etc. I also have other miscellaneous parts and supplies that will be included.
This Jeep was used inside a factory in NC for many years. My Dad purchased it and my brother fixed it up and took very good care of it. I now have it garaged on Cape and occasionally drive it to the golf course. It runs and drives well.
I ask that potential buyers provide me with a phone number so I can call to discuss.”
I’m not sure how much value is here.

“Genuine Willys Overland Jeep M38 Army Military issue 1951
This little Willys M38 has been painted blaze hunter orange but under that it still wears its original army olive drab green! Does not have glass in the windshield frame. Jeep still retains much of its original attire including: seats, wheels, tires, blackout lights, fuel tank, tail-gate, bumper, bumperettes, serial plate, and many other small items that usually get stripped after 66 years. Even the US 5 gallon gas can is 1951!
The tub itself is actually in good shape, the only real serious cancer resides under the gas tank as pictured. It’s has a seam split in that area that was created for drainage. Also, a few holes punched out with a screwdriver in the storage compartment for drainage.
This jeep does NOT include an engine, but I have a complete working Willys L134 flat-head 4 cylinder engine that could be included with the sale. Please let me know if this is something you would be interested in adding.
I currently do not have the title, the lady I bought it from lost it in her house?? She did give me a photograph of the title.
Over-all this army Jeep is a great candidate for a restoration project! These Jeep’s are legends, they worked hard for the soldiers who fought, bled and died for freedom…”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $13,000.
(01/29/2019) Abe is selling his M-38.
“1952 M-38 95% restored. If you are looking for a fun collector car, or if you like to have people wave as you drive down the road, this is the jeep for you.
M38 was a Korean War era Jeep that was only in production for 2.5 years. Original Body tub. All wires redone front to back. New gauges, gauge cluster, exhaust, fuel lines, fuel tank, brakes, new original wheels, new tires, upholstery, windshield, windshield seal, pintle hook, antenna, starter, solenoid, carburetor rebuild, new air intake, pioneer gear (axe/shovel). I have original data plate, and paint for touch up. This is great in a parade or to advertise your business!
I have clean title, so you dont have to worry about inspection or anything.
The only thing not original on this jeep is that it was converted to 12 volt (regular battery works) and we added seat belts and turn signals, and a horn that makes a fun sound.
I have had in the family for 30 years. Only selling, because I am tired of having too much stuff and I just dont drive it enough to enjoy it like I used to.
NO TRADES, I do not need help selling. Cash or verifiable cashiers check. I have title and Im ready to sell. Buy it before I change my mind!”
UPDATE: Status Unknown. was $15,000.
Looks in good shape.
