Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This custom rig is registered as a 1948 Willys Jeep. Anyone see a Willys part on here? At least the ‘half top’ is somewhat Kelly-esque.

“This is a honda civic with a jeep wrangler body with a full stainless steel cat back exhaust with a header the body is welded onto the civic uniboby with the rear fenders and floor pan done by the previous owner. All I did was put a second seat into it. Use it as a woods rig or whatever.”

“Up for sale we have a first year 1987 Jeep Wrangler YJ. This jeep is being sold with 100% of the sale being donated to the American Cancer Society. This Jeep was a generous donation that our local jeep club received from a private owner. It has a clear California title. It is currently not running. We have determined the engine is a 4.2 liter that has been converted to fuel injection. This is not a 4.0.
The jeep was in the process of a full restoration when we received it but as you can tell, it needs to be completed. This was at some time a full frame off restoration. You can tell from the pictures that the frame is in excellent condition. Interior: the interior was in the process of being restored and we feel the majority of all interior parts are included. It includes an after market steel locking console. All three seats are in great shape as well. Original keys and most of the interior parts are original.Tub: the tub is wonderful condition as well. Inside floor boards and rear deck are rust free. The front clip is in good shape with a small ding on the drivers side front fender.

Maury shared this ad. It seems a pretty solid jeep, especially for the southeast. Seller is a dealer. The worst ‘damage’ seems to be the driver’s seat.

“You are looking at a 1967 Kaiser Jeep J3000 pickup. This Jeep is 4 wheel drive pickup and is an amazing vehicle…This vehicle has a 327 V8 engine with an automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, factory air conditioning and factory bucket seats. It is a long bed truck and the inside of the bed only has 2 very small dents in it. It is a very solid truck. We have had it running but have not driven it yet. As it sits right now you can own this vehicle for only $5,000 which I feel is very fair for a vehicle like this one with the potential that this vehicle has.”
