1952 Willys Truck $6,500 Waseca, MN

Going to be posting some older listings that are still up will try to add how old these are first some of these might be long gone but still never know. Will be building up some stock for the Holiday week.

Listed 11 weeks ago, they are selling for a friend so this is 4^th party here at this point on my end, quality of lead for a listing I give it a 4/10 stars.

F-134, listed as extra parts come with this which is a challenge at time if you don’t have physical room for spares.

I’m torn on the spares at times, I tend to take anything and everything to a fault then I wind up with tons of crap that needs a home. I do know Willys folks who have a nice collection and it does not include all the junk (rusty gold really)  like I have, and I don’t even think I have a lot of stuff compared to thousands of other people.

EDIT> Rick pointed out the 2 Batteries, I think they are in Parallel, not sure. Looking at some stock photos from Deka the positive shows in the front right when the label is in the front, and they look to have paralleled the 2 positives. The ground on the drivers fender is probably not my first choice of a great “ground”.

See this pretty poor mark up. Yellow Neg, Red Positive. And I can not see the connections at the engine at all.

Nice catch for sure on this set up.

1952 Willys Truck $22,500 Okeechobee, FL

Lots of Easter Egg’s here to look over the details of this Custom Rig, someone looks like they had a lot of fun putting this one together. 460 / C6, that’s nuts. So much detail work done to this, but at the same time I would want to make this your own.

Here is my version of this, I think it’s about $8k in changes and freshen this up a bit.

• Safety Check, Tune Up and Service, check out the frame and suspension work performed to make sure anything that needs to be addressed gets addressed.
• I would go back to the Willys parking lights up front.
• Rear roll pan is gone then go back to nice simple NACO in the back.
• Same for the interior go back and retrofit the OEM gauges to the 460 not hard there. Might be easier to use a ‘47 – ‘50 Rectangle Gauge set.
• Interior all wood would go away.
• Seats may have to stay but recover.
• Door cards would come from William Work and make more OEM looking.
• Wheels would get US Wheel to make some custom based on the need there so they look more Stock, play with the ratio of the front tire a bit if able. Front is too small for me.
• If they have the paint code for the brown I would look to add the beading to the bed steps like the original, that’s a really nice touch not many would notice, but when its not there I think it stands out as a flat step.
• Mirrors would be replaced with an original single stock single arm simple circle one.
• Tailgate I would go standard “W” gate out back. If this is a narrow custom bed, would just source a re-pop then, would do stock chains and the sort

1962 Willys Truck $12,000 Dagsboro, DE

Not sure it “fits” too many large and tall folks perfectly (I am very guilty of just tossing in some anecdote like that all the time, like every day!) , not much detail on this ad, kind of makes me suspect of the ad in general. But the seller looks to have some other ad’s up and then the profile is from 2016, so I try to check what I can here, but with zero details, never know. Photo search does not pop up any other cross posting or stolen pics.

When it comes to Willys Trucks specifically I highly recommend you sit in one prior to buying, and driving if able, they are not roomy rigs. I have had one for 31 years so I’m used to it, unfortunately I’m not the same size as I was at17 anymore! But seriously sit in and drive a truck prior to buying is my highest recommendation, if you don’t fit, don’t be surprised, get a Wagon or 2!

Should be a 226 Truck, my guess 4.88 ratio rear, has an OD from the looks of it.

1957 Willys Truck $4,500 Wedowee, AL

Not much to go by here, but looks pretty complete from what is shown. Split windshield (till later in 1960 when they moved to the 1 pc) and large back window cab (after 1954) looks like they are in the ball bark on the year so to say. I forget if they ever got rid of the bed steps. When done properly those bed steps are legit, those are very functional to get up in the bed. Spare tire not so helpful climbing over that to get to say a cooler, so I keep that stuff on the passenger side! Give Sam a call, how not sure but they should know him down there Wedowee, AL pop. 751. The crazy part is back in 2012 there was a CJ-5 posted here, and 2017 a Wagon from the same town so lots of cool Willys down that way!

1955 Willys Truck $10,500  Catawissa, PA

226 4WD, floors looks pretty solid. Looks like it had a plow on it, pump is still there.

Ok so Rabbit Hole of the day, since this rig pops up in Catawissa, PA if you want to search up Catawissa Hooded Graves there is an interesting back story to a few graves in the Old Mt Zion Cemetery over there. Back in the early 1850’s there were some issues with illegal removal of remains from Cemeteries for medical research, so Mortsafes were erected around several graves. There of course are other more interesting theories surrounding the cages that cover some of the graves.  I have worked out in Catawissa a few times and like the saying goes “I spent a week there one night”. Also its right down the road from Knobles a well known and loved local amusement park that is super Family Friendly and just a really neat place to go visit.

So go grab a Willys in Catawissa, catch up on some local History at the Cemetery, and swing by Knobles and that’s a pretty good little road trip.

1955 Willys truck. Engine runs and brakes work but will need adjusted. Extremely nice condition for a 70 year old truck possibly the original 6 cylinder engine. Thought I would have the time to enjoy it but that hasn’t happened, maybe someone else will. Sorry to see it go but just taking up space now. Have title, delivery possible depending where.
