This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This looks like it was a race jeep to me, probably from the 1980s as there is no driver’s side “door” bar. It appears to have a Chev 1953?

Was told it came from the mid-west and with the lack of any real rust I have to believe it. Equipped with the F-134 Hurricane 4 cylinder the drivetrain is the original configuration with the exception of a Warn Overdrive. 5.38 axle ratio. Also has Warn locking hubs. Brand new tires and wheels that are period correct. The ignition was upgraded with a points eliminator and higher voltage coil”

“1952 CJ3A runs, drives, brakes, licensed and driven every year during good weather.
Has rear seat, Harrison heater, 6 volt, roll-bar, lap belts, IH front locking hubs, and original drive-train. New kingpin bearings and races, a new aluminum radiator, a new thermostat, NOS oil bath air cleaner parts. 4WD works great drives very well even without lockers. Like all 67 year old jeeps this is continuous work in progress, but very enjoyable to drive.
1955 CJ5 mostly a parts vehicle.
Includes: frame, axles, F134 motor block (needs total rebuild), transmission, transfercase (will need rebuilding), Koenig Iron works full top and doors (door glass intact, top missing glass). Has fenders, hood and grill, the tub is shot.
I want this to be a package deal, I am going to go in a different direction and would like to get rid of my Jeeps and parts.

“Early production, according to some JEEP experts, this has early engine block, both good rears, locking hubs, god gauges , has oval pad behind oil filter, and 3 speed standard trans on column, we almost had engine running, we lost spark when rotor fell apart, decent frame, poor tub, and no title, and I cant find any tags on the body or frame, there is a number on the engine. and it was a funky green under the crappy brown that it is now.
No paperwork, repeat no paperwork, I am willing to lick my wounds after a dip in lake stupid for buying this thing at 1500, 1100 is the price.
This Jeep is in Bangor Pennsylvania, yes Bangor Pennsylvania, and its an hour from where I live, so not running around and meeting at 9 pm for a looky loo, if you are interested, I am more than happy to answer questions, and meet to sell it to you, if you can find one for 200 please buy it, or even 300 go for it.
If you don’t like the price you can buy it for 100 at my estate sale when im dead, cause buying crap like this is gonna kill me. No longer collecting cars or projects, not interested in trades of any kind, or crypto currency, or motorcycles, or dune buggys, or tools.”
