About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
These appear to be 19 spline Husky Hubs (I counted the splines). Anyone see a reason why these wouldn’t work on a 19 spline jeep axle/hub?
“THIS IS A NEW HUSKY MODEL NO. 002, LOCKING HUBS FOR THE WM 200 DODGE POWER WAGON. FREE SHIPPING INSIDE THE USA. IF YOU LIVE IN CALIFORNIA YOU MUST PAY SALES TAX”
“Kelly Mfg. Automatic locking hubs. These are off of a 1953 Willys CJ3a, but, should fit most Jeeps with a Dana 25 or 27 front axle. They are ten spline. These hubs were usually dealer installed options, and are in very good shape, and in working order. Great for a restoration project. $80.00, or would consider trading for a good 5.38 ring and pinion for the same Dana 25/27 front axle.”
Vintage set of 10 spline Warn hubs. Seller also has newer set for more money.
“I have two sets of Warn locking hubs. Both are for 10 spline axle shafts and six bolt flange mounting. They are compatible with many years of jeeps.
1. Plastic dial set is in perfect working order. They are also compatible with threaded axle shafts on early jeeps. No need to remove or cut off the shaft, they work with the nut installed. $50
2. Brass dial premium set (Warn part number 29062) are new in box, never installed. These are also compatible with all the same years of vehicles. If used on threaded axle shafts the threads will need to be cut off per Warn’s instructions. These retail for $210. I am selling them for $150.”
“These vintage 1950s WARN hubs are used to convert jeeps and other Willys vehicles from full-time four wheel drive to two wheel drive by replacing the grooved 4WD hub with a non-grooved hub. An integral needle bearing and a separate bushing support the splined axle end in the non-grooved hub.
They are called “summer” hubs because owners would remove the early full-time 4WD hubs from their vehicles during the summer when 4WD was not required, to increase gas mileage, and to reduce wear on tires and drive train parts. They are also attractive with the “waffle” pattern and script “Warn” on each shiny aluminum hub.
” I have 2 complete sets of Dualmatic 6 bolt 10 spline locking hubs, tall versions. These will fit all 10 spline willys jeeps cj’s mb gpw’s wagon trucks and jeepster’s.
The set on the left has damage to the housing and one star gear. It has torrington needle bearings and is complete
The set on the right works but has small hairline cracks in the housing around the star gear, this set is also complete no other damage besides cracks.
Both sets have flat tops with no warping or over tightening.
Great for parts or restoration.”

1969 Jeep CJ-5 4×4 in very good condition, equipped with the optional Dauntless 225 cubic inch 160 horsepower V6, and mated to the Borg Warner T86 3 speed manual transmission. Transfer case is the Dana 18, and has the Dana 44 rear axle. Front axle has Warn locking/unlocking hubs. Odometer shows 20,425 (most likely has rolled over once), but actual mileage is unknown.
Features include full instrumentation, heater/defroster, power steering, auxiliary electric fan, brand new original-style Rugged Ridge driver and passenger seats, 2-year-old full Bestop canvas with zip windows and doors. Also comes with driver and passenger half doors and bikini top.
Other features include twin 11 gallon fuel tanks (22 gallon total capacity), 12,000 lb. remote controlled winch, full roll bar (makes for a complete interior cage), tow bar, 31×10.50R15 M/T tires (spare has never hit the ground), dual exhaust, headlight rock guards, opening tailgate (later models were welded shut) and Bluetooth enabled Cobra CB radio.
This Jeep starts right up and drives beautifully. No smoke and idles well. Clutch is smooth with no chatter or whine. Transfer case works perfectly in all ranges (2H, 4H and 4L). Vehicle will cruise at 55-60 with no issue whatsoever (can achieve higher speeds if desired). This is a hunter’s dream, or a weekend warrior’s mountain explorer.
This is also the final year of the Kaiser-built Jeeps prior to AMC’s acquisition of the company and are becoming very hard to find in this condition.
Clear Oregon title, $16,950 obo. If the ad is up, it’s available. Please, serious inquiries only.
This Jeep runs and drives well. It does not smoke or burn oil. It does not pop out of second gear which is a common issue. 4 wheel drive works. It has a vintage set of sears locking hubs. Firestone NDT tires are still like New. Tires are a year old and have less than a 1000 miles on them. All the gauges work except the temperature gauge. It could use a brake adjustment. Rear brakes need a new line. Body has a few patches in the front floor. Tool box area has rust but that is a common problem in jeeps that are 70+ years old. No trades!!!! Yes I have a title in my name. Yes!!! It is Available!!!!! No!!! I will not take 50% of my asking price!!!
