1962 Willys Jeep FC-170 Dually Stake Bed Scottsdale, AZ

Beautiful FC170 Stakebed in AZ was sent over by John via email to post@ewillys.com

Complete nothing left untouched from what the photos show high level restoration, really sharp looking FC170 Dually.

If you are looking for a real gem this may me the one you have been waiting for.

Also has some great photos of the frame and undercarriage for record if your doing an FC170 worth checking out.

Looks to have a PowrLock out back as well, not sure on the Ratio, I feel the 226’s came with 4.88 pretty standard. This could benefit maybe from an OD if cruising down the big road. That would be a fun project in an FC to get that linkage sorted out.

One question for either John or the group what is the Dock Height of the rear bed? Can you back up to a modern day loading dock and use this? I know out my way there are some old school feed stores where they have pick up truck height that is much lower then they have a much taller call it standard dock height. Find a practical use and put another 50k miles on this rig! A driven Willys is a happy Willys!

Information from seller:

Nut and bolt restoration in progress. Chassis and drivetrain completed. Over $80,000 invested at this point. You can continue the project for a fraction of my cost. This vehicle is 1 of only 1134 produced. It has less than 50,000 miles and minimal body rust. All original numbers matching Pugnose jeep. Everything showing wear was replaced or rebuilt. I only have knowledge of three existing today and none restored to this level of originality. Let’s talk about price.

1949 Jeep Willys $18,000 OBO Saugerties, NY

Tim’s Notes: This has most of what it says it does.

  • Seats are original looking.
  • Gauges look great.
  • Plow with Correct Plow Frame that comes to the cab area.
  • PTO is really cool.
  • Heater
  • Glove Box Tags
  • Horse Hair stuff between the Radiator and Front Grill!
  • Frame and undercarriage look solid.
  • Spare Tire Mount looks all there.
  • Sideview mirror is correct.
  • Trim all on the inside looks correct and present.
  • Interior original Paint is fantastic! Potomac Gray and the Luzern Red
  • Engine Bay Patina is great as well.
  • 6 Volt, VR is there (those are a chore to do solo on these)
  • Data Plate is there under the hood drivers side.
  • Hood Trim, Spear, Interior Trim Parts, Small doors and hardware all there as well.
  • Column Shift

Things that are little different then stock:

  • Fuel System has a small electric pump, (not a horrible idea!)
  • Don’t see the actual horn.
    • Missed it, its tucked behind the oil filter and looks correct!
  • Some of the electrical controls have been swapped. (A long time ago, very vintage!)
  • Extra lights on the fenders, (again way cool looking to me)
  • Super neat turn signal, I have not seen that version before, it’s neat!
  • Oil Filter is remote mounted. (not sure that really matters but on my L134 the Oil Pressure can use all the help you can give it, these are not full flow filters anyway from what I recall, so might not really matter how far you mount this from the block, will defer to others on that point)

early pickup with rear pto gearbox and drum pulley

Information from seller:

Up for sale is a 1949 Willy’s truck that’s a true survivor. All original besides a repaint roughly 20 years ago. Truck runs, drives and stops but could use a thorough comb to make it road worthy. Has a rebuilt carb, new starter, fuel pump and a basic tune up kit all done roughly 3 years ago. Has a pto off the back that was still operational a few years back, just haven’t used it since. Truck is stored inside. It’s very solid. With minimal surface rust, zero rot. Come take a look starting at $18,000 or best offer.

1946 Willys Jeep CJ-2A w/ Koenig Half Cab $13,750 OBO Fayetteville, NC

This was posted on eWillys back in 2013. It still looks to be in great shape. Seller listed as purchased for a client and deal fell through, has good ebay ratings from what I can see here.

Original post is here, below is the new information and link.

Information from seller:

1946 Willys CJ2A Koenig Half Cab Fully Restored

4wd / 4X4 Farm/ Offroad

Factory 4-cylinder engine, Manual Transmission

Starts, runs, drives, 4wd works, brakes as should

I acquired this vehicle for a specific customer by request, he subsequently lost his ability to fund the deal.  I have no personal interest in it, so I am selling it today.

I would expect if you are looking at this, you are a vintage Willys/Jeep enthusiast and know more than I do about them.

This is absolutely everything I know about this vehicle:

1946 Willys CJ2A w/ a Koenig Half Cab

Doors are removable, cab and tub are integrated and do not separate.

A full restoration was completed 12-14 years ago (around 2010-2013 timeframe)

Sold in 2013 at Gateway in Detroit (for what I assume was the $19,995 range) see last pic*

Operated and shown in a few Jeep/Willys Events/ Rally’s in the Pennsylvania area 2013-2015 timeframe.

Stored/ garaged for an unknown time period and then sold to the person I bought it from.

Garaged and used sparingly as an enthusiast vehicle for a few years and sold to me since never had time to drive it.

Original 6 Volt electrical system.

This is the first year model offered as a civilian version of the old military units.

Top speed is 38-45mph so considered a ranch/ farm work vehicle of course.

Has/ can be operated in parades, events, shows etc.

The vehicle is absolutely a conversation piece with anyone that sees it.

NO RUST ANYWHERE ON THIS VEHICLE, pics are current accurately depict current condition.

1953 CJ-3B Parkette Vancouver, WA $15,000

This 3B has a rare Parkette fiberglass body. There may be 10-20 of these bodies around.

“1953 Willy’s CJ3B. Jeep was completely rebuilt in 2016. All running gear is replaced or rebuilt. The engine, trans, and running gear have 17,048 miles. That’s around 2000 miles per year. Jeep is loud and quick with tons of power. I have it geared for driving around town and running errands. The jeep has never been off road or wheeled.

The body of the Jeep is an extremely rare Parkette Body. A small amount of these were made in the 70s. They are light and known for their toughness. Seats in the tub are moved back 4” to accommodate a taller driver. I am 6’4” and fit great with the CJ5 tilt wheel.

Mechanically the Jeep is perfect. Cosmetically its not perfect, but gets thumbs up and smiles wherever I drive it. Could use a paint refresh and tub lining, but I personally like it with some character.

This looks in good shape. Given how dry it is here, I suspect the metal under that diamond plate is in good condition (if it was added after the red paint).

“I have a 1948 CJ2A with rear PTO. It’s all restored to original. The restoration was done roughly 15 years ago but looks like it was done less than that. This was all done recently as it sat for so long: New fuel pump, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, condenser, oil lines, fuel pump to carb line, carb was completely rebuilt, new master cylinder, bell and crank for the steering. I’m sure I’m missing a few things. Have new wheel cylinders but haven’t installed them. Comes with tire chains, a bucket of carbs (3-4) a crate of other parts and a hard cab that needs to be finished. Runs and drives. $18,500. Open to trades”
