(08/10/2020) I you are an Eddie Arnold fan, this jeep might appeal to you. It appears to be a thorough rebuild, there have been a few updates, such as the brakes, 12 volts, radiator, and more.
“This cj3a has been fully restored. Every part has been addressed. Engine, Transmission, Transfer case, Front axle, Rear axle all have been rebuilt, All the rust in the body has been cut out and replaced, the body has been striped to bare metal, primed and repainted. The frame has been striped all cracks welded and some reinforcement added.
Many new parts including springs, hangers, rebuilt steering box and all the steering parts rebuilt or replaced. 11″ brakes on all four wheels, all new or rebuilt. All the gauges have been rebuilt. A brand new wiring harness has been installed and now it’s 12 volt. Turn signals have been added. The transmission has had an overdrive unit installed. The brake and clutch pedal have been rebuilt. The seats have all new springs and upholstery. This is as a brand new jeep.
This Jeep was bought new by country western music star and member of the Grand ol’ Opry, Eddie Arnold. He used this jeep on his farm for 30 years. I have loads of documentation, letters, titles, pictures and several signatures, he even signed the repair manual.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000.
This is a VEC with the rear hubs and early windshield. Plus, it has a rear PTO. This should go fast at this price. No title. Serial number #11854.
“I am reposting this Jeep. I have been educated a little on what I have. I got VERY overwhelmed by the amount of messages I received after posting yesterday. For all of you that are going to come on here and say I should have gone with the first person who messaged me, I honestly couldn’t tell you who the hell messaged me first. I got so many at one time it was unreal. SO I do not have the title to this Jeep #30 1946 CJ-2A Willys I don’t know if this thing runs. It was a family members that we had to pay for to get it out of the shop when he passed. There are 2 rust spots in the floor inside the Jeep. Has PTO Must either come pick up or arrange to have it picked up and delivered.”
This has any unusual extension setup along with shorter rear barm doors. Maybe a Koenig hardtop?

“I am sad to be posting this but here it is. This is a one of a kind Hardtop Jeep Willys CJ3A. It has 18,500 original miles and the motor was rebuilt at 15,826 in 2016 ($3000 of work that I have the paperwork for).
Shocks were replaced at 15,665 miles. It is converted to 12volt. Its got brake lights and blinkers. 4×4 high and low work perfectly. The hardtop is custom fitted and fabricated, they didn’t make these with hardtops back then. This is a one of one Jeep Willys with an awesome patina, it could be sanded and panted easily but I would say don’t do it, keep that patina alive.
