Most common reason I can think of is for inline six cylinder.
I think I remember this jeep from the mid 90″s. It had a ford 302 set a bit forward because of the tranny adapter and an oversized radiator in the front. It sure looks like the same one anyway. It was for sale in 94-95 but was too cobbled together for me. 🙂
