About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
1961 Willys Jeep, recently restored, only 69 miles on it.
Lots of work has been done, with many brand new parts, including:
a new Chevy 350 Blueprint Engine, new tires, power brakes, headers, hubs, alternator, a brand new pioneer radio, an optima bettery, new gauges, and new panels, a winch, and working 4-wheel drive.
1949 Willys Jeep Wagon. 4×4 complete with everything original except the engine. All drive line components are intact and still installed on the vehicle. It does have some rust. But over all it is in pretty good shape aside from being dirty. I do have a running Chevy 327 engine that could easily be made to fit for an additional price if your interested. I have the title Asking $6000 OBO.
I bought this several years ago, thinking I would make a little camper out of it. I put new tires and rims on last fall, but haven’t had a chance to mess with it. It pulls real nice on the highway, even hooked to the minivan. Lights will need replaced. It has a little homemade woodstove inside it. Front doors do not open. It’s going to be a project, but you’ll have the only one in the world like it! Inside dimensions are approximately 8 foot long, 55 inches wide, 42 inches tall. I will provide a bill of sale so you can register it as homemade.
Willys Wagon has been in our family for 30 years plus, built 305 Chevy V-8, Ford T-18 train, stock Spicer transfer and axles. Runs great with very low low gears (T-18 train) and runs clean at 70 mph down the highway. Selling because I am over my limit on Wagons with my new 1961 Panel that I have rebuilt.
