Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Archive.org has an interesting collection of Business Screen Magazines from 1944-1947. Reading through them was kind of interesting. I found a few jeeps, too.

I thought this org chart was interesting as well.
Reference the second pic, the film crew apparently worked up a nice adapter so the camera could be mounted on the jeeps machine gun mount. I have seen pictures of film crew jeeps without a mg mount and in these they just used a regular camera tripod. Would make a good model diorama idea.
That was my favorite pic of the bunch. I’ve never seen that done.
