Been watching this for over a month now. If it’s still available when I can make a trip up to Washington, I’m wondering if there are tops without the red cross, otherwise I’ll have to completely restore it (not that that’s a bad thing) I just want to drive it 🙂
That’s a good question I’d never thought about. I just did a quick search, but the only tops I found had the red cross. So as I’m reading more and more about the m170 im wondering if this motor is in fact the original. How does one tell?

You are correct. The stock engine is an f-head. This has several non stock items.
