Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Jungle Habitat was a drive through safari park in Wet Milford, Greenwood Lake NJ at the state line with NY. Pine Bush is not that far from the NJ boarder. Jungle Habitat was a theme park owned by Warner Brothers, set up in the early 1970’s with the intent to be a big tourist attraction for West Milford, went bust by 1980 and left abandoned to this day. If you do an internet search, you’ll find pictures of then and now. One of the interesting aspects, was they had zebra stripe painted Toyota Landcruisers.
