1962 Jeep FJ–3 $650 Altoona, PA ***PENDING***
Mike sent over this Fleetvan, its rough but not horrible for a NE Rig at times. Still neat to run across these. This looks like a good deal even for the condition just because if your building one there is a lot here from what I can see.

Doing some digging it looks like Gearhart’s Moving and Storage was local to Altoona, PA found a few ads from them in the 60’s and they were listed many times past that as well.
Late 1960’s, my job entailed driving one of these FJ3A’s on my home delivery newspaper route. The fleetvan was perfect for this type of work, very nibble with a short turning radius cut down delivery time. With helpers on the weekend, depending on their position in the van, we’d pull stunts with the right position to almost make it flip. Crazy I know, but that was life in the 60’s, fun on the job and a fun vehicle to drive. I wanted to drag it home when my employer junked it, but the junk man beat me to it. Liberty auto parts used it as a torch truck, then I lost track of it.
