Vintage Willys CJ2A Jeep Monarch Snow Plow HY-LO Hydraulic Pump, With ele motor attached. Was on an old Scout. Don’t know what year but internet says about 1942. Has not been tested, pump turns but hard think old dried oil in it. DC Motor turns easy. Control moves freely. |

Monarch HY-LO’s were used by every snowplow manufacturer, basic, easy to use & rebuild, easy to convert to power angle by adding another P/A valve on op of the up, down valve. This system would never fail you in a heavy snow storm like the early Electro-Lifts which suffered from a drained battery. Back in the early 1990’s after a day of plowing with my CJ2A, I was driving down Route 80 in Wayne from plowing when I spotted a late model CJ7 pulled over on the shoulder of the highway, I stopped to help him out, it was Allen Levine from Paterson, dead battery from using a Electro-Lift, I towed him back to Paterson.
