About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Rare 1953 Willys jeep with stock winch and nice chrome grill. Nice barn find with minimal surface rust. Tires are all good tread. Engine was running when parked extra fuel tank for under rear seat. Nice restore project.”
“Nice little Willys CJ3b “High Hood” with NO rust and has a just re-built F4-134 engine that starts instantly and runs quietly and very smooth. They don’t make these rigs any more. Has 12 volt conversion with alternator, new fuse panel and all new wiring. Has electric fuel pump, complete new exhaust system, new 7:00-15LT non-directional military type tread tires made by Specialty Tires of America. All original drive train including T90 3 speed transmission and D18 transfer case, high and low 4wd. Recently re-upholstered seats. This little flat fender is in excellent condition. Located in Webster, NH, right next to Concord, can be seen most anytime in heated shop with lift.”
“Willys sold the rights to build Jeep CJ3’s in Japan to Mitsubishi and they have been made there for over 40 years. This one is a 1991 has a Mitsubishi 2.7 turbo diesel. This was built from the factory to go offroad, Dana 44 rear Dana 30 fronts, 4 speed runs and drives it is a little tank. This is a great jeep. you know you always wanted a diesel Jeep here is your chance. Right hand drive. Clear Florida Title. http://www.floridaminitrucks.com.”
“Will not sell for a penny less than 1500 need bill money or I’ll keep it so if your gonna low ball keep scrolling the title alone is worth the asking price everything is there that you would need plus an extra motor non OP current have pink in hand in MY NAME no bs tire kickers”
(02/22/2018) This late model CJ-3B has some Desert Dogs in great shape.
“Hello, I have a CJ3B project for sale, It includes the body as seen in photos, new frame with springs Dana 44 rear axle, Dana 30 front axle and four good Desert Dog tires. This is a new reproduction frame, not a sandblasted old frame. I have installed Saginaw steering using Jeep Parts from a 1971 Jeepster Commando, is a very good installation, and a trailer hitch made from 3/8 steel plate, so it is plenty strong and looks nice. Also, the front bumper is made out of 1/4 steel plate that I had made to look like a stock bumper, so it is really strong over a stock bumper. This is a very good start for a project, and I also have other Jeep parts for sale if interested in building a solid Jeep project. This project comes with the original VIN plate for registration, but this project is being sold with a bill of sale only. I can deliver this Jeep within 100 miles for fuel costs both ways.”
(01/29/2018) The seller very honestly points out some weaknesses in the jeep.
“Up for sale is this very nice 1964 Willys CJ3B. The last of the flat fender jeeps. This one is in excellent physical and mechanical condition. There is no rust through on the jeep. The paint is decent on the exterior, but there is overspray in the engine compartment and whoever did the paint job did not clean off all the light scale on the rear floor and fenders and just painted over it, so the paint is the weak link.
It runs, starts, drives, and stops like it should. has a radio in the dash that will work if speakers are hooked up. Seats are good and drivers side has a piece of tape on the top edge as shown. I recently installed a period correct Kayline soft top and doors, and it is excellent. Continue reading →
