About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Jeep CJ3B 1953. Runs like a top. Body off restoration 1000 miles ago. Great WWII era civilian utility vehicle painted to look like the military version. First year of new Willys F-head “Hurricane” engine…producing 75 hp. 36% more than the 55 hp produced by the previous flat head “Go Devil” Willys Jeep engine. Everything works like new”
“New motor, body off restoration, 700 miles since restored. F “Huricane” head 4 cylinder, over head valve. 3 speed manual transmission. Original military tires. Painted in Olive Drab (OD green). 4- wheel drive works great. New wiring harness. Registered in the state of Georgia.”

“1953 first year of production. This is a project that I started but lost interest in; has clear Oregon title; fairly original jeep but rough and needs total restoration. $500 worth of new parts include: 12 volt high-torque starter; fuel pump; carburetor kit; oil lines; it does run with good compression. jeep has been dismantled and some parts re-furbished as I went such as oil filter canister. Also has one new front spring installed.”
(10/07/2015) Needs some body work, but still looks like a good price.

“1953 Willys Jeep CJ-3B, all original, flat-fender, first year of the “Hurricane Four” 4 cyl F-head motor. Original 6-volt electrical system, original oil-bath air cleaner, original vacuum motor windshield wiper. It has spent its whole life in the Oregon High Desert east of the mountains, so there is no significant rust, and was driven only locally for the last 50 yrs, so it has not been “put through the wringer.” Was driven occasionally and parked in back of the house for many years, and has been in a garage for the last several. It could probably be driven away, but has rarely been run for the last 15 years or so. Probably has gas varnished up in the fuel system, and should have a hi-detergent oil run a short while before an oil change, etc. It should probably be taken to its new home via a trailer for face-lift and/or restoration. Got a bunch more pics, email-able, if you’re interested — Continue reading →
Has a little fire damage, but still may be worth a look.
“1961 Willys Jeep CJ3B PROJECT
Jeep was parked at a house that burned the front drivers corner was damaged, the paint, wiring , tire and top were all damaged.
The engine is an “F” Head 134 ci. 4 cylinder – I did a compression test and got 110 psi on all cylinders , I tried to start the engine and the engine has spark but the starter bendix failed, the bendix is available on ebay for about $12, the other problem is the flywheel gear teeth are chewed up ,the gear is flip -able but the engine or transmission needs to be removed to do it.
