About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Have a 1953 CJ-3B, clean title. Has a small block (I think Chevy) in it mated to the original transmission. Axles are factory I believe. What you see is what you get”
(03/06/2022) This looks good on the outside, but does have some floor patches. This also might have a DJ-3A convertible windshield (note the twist-attachments for the top on the front -top of the windshield.
“Here is one neat Jeep. This is a CJ-3B that someone did some nice upgrades too. Originally it would have had a F-Head four cylinder in it. Now the Jeep has a strong running 225 Dauntless V6 that offers the perfect amount of power and torque. It fits the Jeep well. Jeep did use these motors from the mid to late 60’s. They’re great!
Power steering was added and a tilt steering column. The Jeep also and a full roll cage and updated fuse block.
The Jeep is fun! It also has a full soft top and soft doors, winch bumper and a small lift. The body is solid….not all rusted out. The dash has a nice well done gauge cluster and rocker switch panel. The brakes pull a bit if you hit them hard.
Its a great Jeep for running around the ranch, beach, neighborhood etc. Its a clear title, Jeep is located in San Antonio Texas. Thanks”
“Collection of parts to build a 1953 Willy’s cj3b. Fiberglass tub, frame, axles. I have the transmission case but am missing internals. Complete transfer case, pto drive. Radiator, No motor.
Only body part missing is a hood. Also have the title.”
“Selling my CJ 3b Unknown year No title no tags Brand new frame Tub is shot but can be recovered with proper tlc Unmolested drivetrain Flat 4 with 3 speed transmission I think I have the fenders somewhere Price firm Frame was $$! Tons of original parts in it So if you don’t have the cash Or the knowledge to fix it , swipe left”
“1962 Jeep CJ3B. This is a rare high hood to accommodate the new overhead valve engine. Completely restored with new tub! Keep run and drove perfectly 1 year ago but needs new gas to run, small transmission leak. Selling AS IS.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5500. Not surprisingly, this didn’t last long.
Seems worth a look at this price.
“New parts within the last two years:
New aluminum radiator
New windshield
New battery
New toyota starter (better than stock)
New master cylinder
New tires
New fuel pump
New throw out bearing
and probably more I forgot…
This is a 1960 Willys CJ-3B. It is by no means perfect, but starts right up and would probably drive anywhere you want as long as you don’t want to go fast.
The body is fair, the interior is pretty good.
The motor runs great, the brakes work but pull to the left. The tires are reproduction vintage, so they’re only a couple of years old but look like OEM. The lights all work, and I’ve got a clear NM title.
The speedometer was broken when I got it, I replaced it with a different one, I have no idea what the actual mileage is, but you can tell how slow you’re going!
I’m asking $5500, and would consider partial trades for ATV’s, dirt bikes, Willys parts, maybe others.”
