About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
This likely has aftermarket fenders (note the lip on the fenders near the grille). The body has likely been rebuilt (no drain holes, extended steps). Looks solid.
“This cj3b was recently converted to fuel injection (Hamilton system) and runs like a top (just doesn’t stop to well at the moment). This conversion was new gas tank, new in-tank pump, new fuel lines, throttle body fuel injection, ECM, Omix electronic distributor modified for full timing control, new painless wiring harness. This thing starts easy, idles well, and purrs.
Other recent upgrades. Front disc brakes – all new. All new tie rod ends, lots and lots of holes plugged, worst of the rust and damage repaired. New bumper. All new gauges. Brand new Patagonia Milestars.
Not working – I pulled the master cylinder and have a new double circuit master cylinder here and ready to go in. If I get time I will install it. But, right now it only has the hand brake.
It needs some more body work, but once the brake are done, this is a driver.”
“1960 CJ3B Does not run. I do have the title. Was parked because cow damaged the wiring. Had marvel mystery oil put in the cylinders. Body in rough shape. Willing to trade preferably for a military trailer. Will consider other trades. Engine and drive train intact. You must be able to pick up and transport from my location.”
“no title, 2 jeeps for parts, 1 has body-needs work, excellent front clip that we have stored in barn, grill hood, fenders, n windshield frame also stored in barn. Bell housing for v8 conversion, bell housing for orig 4cyl, engines need rebuild, i restored a 1949 cj3a willies from ground and know whats entailed, have no desire
to do again. Good father and son project. Asking $1800 cash or best offer.”
This has an odd dash setup. I **think** someone has taken a replacement tub and added a custom taller cowl over the original cowl to turn it into a 3Bish tub.
“1960 Willys CJ3B T90 Trans V6 Runs good My father owned this for about 30 years. Used for hunting and around town. This was towed up to Maine every year”
Listed as a 1961, the lack of a stamped hood got me thinking. Checking the serial number revealed this is actually a mid-1963 CJ-3B, so the non-stamped hood could very well be original. No description provided.
This could be a good price. I can’t tell if it was a DJ-3A, CJ-3B or a CJ-5.
“59 Willys, aftermarket Tub, small block chevy, 3 speed manual with 18 case. D 41 rear, 27 front with disc brakes and upgraded linkage. Power steering swap. Runs and drives. Current registration, good until 2021. Pink slip in my name. Needs more work to drive and use offroad. CA ID Tag on dash matches paperwork. Some mis matched stuff. Good project. Dont ask if its available. If the add is up, it’s for sale. I’m in the Placerville area. 95667”
