About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
It appears there are two tubs, one of which is a replacement body.
“Jeep in pieces with lots of spare parts. This is a project I will never get to and would rather see someone else build it. I have everything except the fuel pump. According to the guy I bought it from it was running when he took it apart for restoration. The original color is rare Cadet Gray. It comes with many spare parts including a complete Koenig hard top and a complete aftermarket body kit. Have a title in hand.”
“1943 Willy’s Jeep ( Ford ) . 327 Chevy V8, T-90 transmission , Dana 18 transfer case 29 tooth, power steering.33 x 12.5 Goodyear Mud tires. I bought this a few years back not running as a tinker project. I have had a lot of fun getting it running and fixing it up. I have been using it as a grocery getter around town and enjoyed the heck out of it. Like any Willy’s of it’s age it is not perfect but I have replaced quite a few things so you should be able to turn the key and enjoy.
Parts I have replaced (New) – power steering box, tie rod ends, steering column, new drum brakes, calipers and master cylinder , radiator , electric fan, front seats with 4 point harness, electric fuel pump, MSD ignition , LED head and tail lights, carburetor (3 years old), jerry can, one new fuel tank with sending unit.exhaust pipe and muffle replaced back from headers. New wiper motors and wipers. Continue reading →
(07/10/2018) I’m wondering if the rear of the body was repaired using an MB replacement panel? I can’t remember seeing any replacement 3B tubs with a solid back.
“Re Posting my 1953 High Hood Willys. Had the listing up a few months ago but got real busy. Ran when I put in the barn ten years ago. Needs master cylinder for brakes which I have and did not put in. Been in the family since the 1970’s. Will need to be trailered to your location doesn’t run at the moment . Engine not locked up. Rust in various places and some dings. Would make a great teen summer restoration project. Can send you more pics if desired. Comes with a rare steel cab roof”
“Runs drives stops!!! Overhauled over head valve 4 cylinder! Good tires no weather checking has brand new seats that come with it new fuel line good restoration or project mud truck trail runner or drive”
“All original, 4 cylinder, winch, Willys has new radiator, needs some other work but not much. One seat needs upholstering. Has all canvas top and sides with it. Been in Arizona all its life. Brand new spare tire to match others which also have no road wear.”
“Old willys jeep cj3. Frame is extended and on dodge ram axles (additional rear axle included). Needs a lot of work but could either be a project or just to scrap. Missing grill and hood. No wheels so it would have to be flat bedded out on dollys. I can offer minimal assistance getting it off jack stands and removing from garage. Completely free”
This includes a dolly trailer and Bantam TC3 trailer.
“1959 Jeep CJ3B, 1947 Bantam TC3 trailer and JEEP dolly to haul any flat fender JEEP. 3B has a rebuilt F134 Hurricane engine and runs pretty good. Transmission and transfer case were rebuilt at the same time and were all installed almost 4 years ago. Needs a carb rebuild since it has been sitting. Has a Warn Overdrive installed which gives a 30% reduction in engine speed and doubles the number of gears you have.
All of the work that I have done to it was completed a little over 3 years ago. Complete braking system, except hard lines, was done. BF Goodrich All-Terrains were installed. All seats redone. Duraliner bed liner rolled into the tub. Rattle can paint job in desert tan. Bluetooth stereo.
Jeep is overall in good shape. There are some rust holes and a few places underneath where someone welded on some random plate for repairs. 1947 Bantam is in pretty good shape. Has some rust spots in the tub. Tows great, tires are good and lights work.
Jeep Dolly is made specifically for hauling flat fender Jeeps. Balanced good and has a trailer brake.
Have titles for all. $7,500 cash gets everything and some miscellaneous parts that I have as well.”
