These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Neat project for somebody. Old CJ-5 was used in an orchard for years, so it has dings and dents. Missing passenger seat and windshield frame, has NOT run in years but it turns over fine. Pretty rare to find a Jeep project this old with original paint and all five original wheels. Still has the F head 4 cyl. and the floors & tub seem very solid.”
Craig spotted this fiberglass-bodied project. It includes a brand new top.
“1976 CJ5 project. New fiberglass tub, windshield frame, hood and fenders. (2) soft tops included. One soft top is new and in box still ($800). Drivetrain & frame are solid and have been painted black. Engine is original inline 6 cylinder and will need to be rebuilt. 33×12.50 tires are new and have never been on the road. (They have been sitting for a few years) No seats included but I do have a box of interior parts etc. No title, sold with bill of sale. This is a clean Jeep project and would make a fun toy for next summer.

“This is the ultimate Jeep survivor!! It has everything you may want for an outstanding Jeep CJ for any collection. The Jeep was owned by a Willis Jeep Dealer in Indianapolis. It still has the statement of origin or manufactured. It still has the dealer cost sheet. It has 12623 original miles.
It still has the original tube tires. Original paint, top (in bad condition), seats, accessories, hoses, belts, floor mats. Tho only thing that has changed is the shocks, gas cap and clutch. I have owned the Jeep for 20 years. I was going to use it, but realized how special it was and didn’t touch it except for special occasions. I have only put 20 miles on it in the last 3 years. I got it out last night to take pictures and it started right up. I Also have the Willys parts pages for the model. There is a few surface rust spots, one on the tail (pictured) and driver/passenger floor pan. This jeep really deserves a museum or display collection. I have plenty of other photos if needed.”
“1963 Willys Jeep V6 in great condition with custom pin striping by Mitch Kim. Everything works. Disc brakes, brand new full top and brand new bikini top. 3-speed manual. This is a very clean vintage Jeep that was in the Roadster show in 1977 (we have photos we can share) and runs and drives great. Chrome throughout with brand new wheels and tires.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5500. This might have the miner hood ornament on the front.

Looks like a Kelly hardtop. I love the “mother and daughter snow removal” on the door. Has some rust issues.
“This classic Jeep CJ spent much of its life used for plowing snow and stored in a barn. We believe it has had 2-3 owners and the miles appear to be original. Please check out the DOT codes on the tires. You will see that they are November of 1972. It includes the Western plow and controls, as well as the hard top and doors. It was stored in Southeast WI and is a fairly complete vehicle. It is in need of a complete restoration as you can see. Please scroll down and enjoy the 250+ photos.”

M38a1 military frame, which came stock shackle reversed and boxed/braced. Machine gun bracket cut off, rear draw bar/pto v bar cut out for 72-75 rear mounted gas tank. I do have original engine brackets for the f head 134 Willys engine.
Toyota 20r & 2wd 5speed that will run
Toyota 8″ rear end, welded w/ 4:10 gears and g2 wheel adapters to Jeep 5 lug
Dana 30 disc wide track front axle, 4:10 gears, open diff
Stock military m38a1 leafs (need bushings)
Toyota manual steering box
1974 tub in very bad shape, I would call it un useable
2 sets of front fenders and hoods in very good shape
Grill in ok shape but not restoration quality
Homemade windshield
It’s rough, missing things like shackles, some sheet metal and other pieces but with some work it could be a decent off-road toy, it did run/drive fairly well before I stole the original tub off it.
Needs, pedals, brakes, better steering column and wiring re connected, I have the pedals/brakes but they aren’t installed.
Comes with some soft doors, 2 sets of RANCHO shocks, other odds and ends
