About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“I have a 1962 Willys for sale. It runs and all gears and 4wd run good. It has the F4 hurricane engine with electric fuel pump for easy starts. This is a great project jeep. I also have another willys chassis with wheels and title for it. Serious inquiries only please.”
“Up for sale is a 60s willys jeep parts car. Has a good motor and trany. Runs and drives but is very crood. Body is shot. But the rest you might need so good luck. Breaks work but are not street worthy. Can be driven on to a trailer. No paper’s was used for many years on a farm.”
“Up for sale is, what I believe is a 1956, Willys Jeep CJ5. The serial number under the hood reads 57548-14914. I am selling this for my uncle so please excuse my lack of knowledge on the vehicle. I do know you will not be able to drive it home, however it does run and you can test drive it before buying it. It has a Buick V8 with a Turbo 350 automatic transmission with a B&M ratchet shifter. Has 36″ super swamper tires which are pretty dry rotted but all hold air. It has Warn manual locking front hubs with a Dana 30 front end and Dana 44 rear end. It has a homemade canopy top which can be easily removed. frame is in good shape and body is in decent shape with a few dings and dents and some surface rust. This jeep needs a restoration, but it is a running and, we’ll say moving, project.”
Looks like there is potential here. Has a Meyer hardtop.
“1957 Jeep Willys CJ5, ALL ORIGINAL. This beauty is a BARN FIND! Title clean. Ran when parked in 1981. Very little rust. Complete original condition. Serious inquires only please – contact me for more information. Best offer considered (please don’t low ball this beauty).”
Has PTO and rear gearbox in back and a plow up front.
“For sale is a fully operational early CJ5. It runs, drives, and stops well. You can drive this right down the road, even at night as the lights also work. This vehicle was used for plowing churches, and was last registered on the road last fall.
Jeep has a nice, modern title.
Tub is rough – but the front half of the body, and the half top seem to be in good shape. The dash gauge is in great condition. There’s a heater near the passenger side.
Plow goes up/down and tilts. Rear PTO unit spins. You may power agricultural attachments with this system. Plow quick disconnects, and you’re off bashing the trails.”
Craig found this CJ-5 with a newly rebuilt engine and a fiberglass body that’s been cracked. Looks like there’s value here.
“CJ5 jeep. Engine was completely rebuilt by previous owner (huricane 4 cylinder) hardly has any miles on it since being rebuilt but hasent run in a couple years due to the carburetor needs to be cleaned. It has a fiberglass tub but is cracked from a tree falling on it. The tires are 33″ and are like brand new. We do not have a registration or title for it. The previous owner did not have one eitherl”
“Selling my Willys project. Bought it from a friend a couple years ago and it’s been sitting with not enough time to work on. I bought a new wire harness new alt, and distributor,12v. Needs work to get going. Ran great before wire harness was cut out. Complete wire harness and book to go with it. Has a PTO transfer case to go along with it as well as 2 other hoods and another set of tires. Frame is in great shape, body is not bad.”
