About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“Here is what i know about the digger i believe it 1968 model year. the dozer blade works up and down down pressure will lift front end off ground..all the pto hook ups appear intact and everything looks original. we picked up the jeep a few years ago, the front drive shaft broke loading on trailer and will need to be repaired or replaced..will still drive and ran and drove fine when parked. it was stored indoors when we bought it and has been stored inside building since we got it. hopefully the pictures will answer most question as i am not familiar with these old jeeps”
“I’m looking to sell this Willy’s it’s a little project. It runs good it just needs seats, windshield frame and windshield, needs brake and signal lights, and need to find hole in brake line other than that it runs pretty good asking $1200 or would be willing to trade for decent motorcycle.”
“I have a classic 1963 Willy’s Jeep CJ-5 for sale. Jeep runs and drives excellent. Everything works!! Heater, wipers, headlights, tail lights, brake lights, turn signals, horn plus extra horn. All gauges work: speedometer, gas, coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltmeter. The speedometer is new so it has only a hundred or so reading on it plus whatever im still putting on it.
It has roughly 120,000 miles. The jeep has a gray Besttop soft top. Its a little older and some of the stitching has come undone but still works. Could have a fabric or top place re-stitch for a fair price I would imagine but I haven’t looked into it yet. I prefer no top but sometimes you need one, and it works. This jeep is old but considering its year it drives excellent!!!!
It has a 4 cylinder motor, 3 speed manual tranny, and 4 wheel drive. NO power brakes or power steering. Jeep has a factory winch on the front that has cables that operate it from in the cab. It was off when I got the jeep so It is not currently hooked up yet, but I plan on tinkering with it a little when I have some free time just cause i’m curious and want to try it out. It is a slow go-er but “The Duke” will get up to freeway speeds and keep up with traffic but you must consider in 1963 they were only made to go 50-55 mph. Suprisingly it handles pretty good at the faster speeds.
The brakes could use a little work it pulls to the right when stopping fast but il try to bleed it again to see if it helps. drum brakes all around so they will only be as good as manual drum brakes can be. All in all great classic Willy’s Jeep that works and can be registered immediately. It should pass safety and immisions it has been registered every year since at least 88′ minus the last couple years it has been sitting in the garage. Come check it out or give me a call or text. I work nights but leave me a message and il get back to you, $2,700″
“CJ5 Jeep converted to fire truck for fighting grass fires by Creston, Ohio, fire dept in about 1960. Factory installed rear power take-off drives a water pump. Water tank installed in back seating area.
16″ wheels.
I purchased this Jeep from Creston in March 1990 at their yearly fire dept auction. 10,790 miles on odometer. I drove this Jeep from Creston to my home and it has been driven only on my property for enjoyment; never licensed. Always stored inside.
Fire accessories shown in photos such as the helmets, fire fighting water back packs, etc., are also for sale.”
Buzz forwarded this heavily loaded jeep. The auction takes place THURSDAY, MAY 28th at 12:00 NOON, 5209 WINDING WAY in EVANSVILLE, IN.
“’64 Jeep CJ-5A Tuxedo Park Mark IV, 4WD with only 45,077 miles, VIN 8322 11005 – Per the Jeep Blog “In an effort to appeal to a more upscale demographic, the 1964 Jeep CJ-5A and CJ-6A Tuxedo Park models were introduced. While very few were produced, Jeep CJ-5A Tuxedo Parks were a part of history that not many vehicles can lay claim to. They were used in Lyndon B. Johnson’s inaugural presidential parade in 1965.””
