About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

Bob spotted this CJ-5. Looks in good shape for the price.
“1982 Jeep CJ5 Soft top. Original steel tub that is in overall good condition. 6 cyl 258 motor, 4 speed manual transmission, new black soft top and black bikini top, new Cragar rims, tires with 80% tread and a good spare, tow bar, new muffler. The transfer case and transmission works shifts well. Needs a new steering gear but it is drivable, exhaust manifold or gasket is leaking – have new aftermarket exhaust manifold and gasket, new fuel gauge, temp gauge and radio quit working. The jeep is over 30 years old and not perfect but overall solid. Contact for more information or photos. Not interested in any trades”
This runs, but needs a battery. Body is fiberglass.
“I have a 67 CJ-5 for sale. I had to buy this vehicle to obtain the one I really wanted. I’m 6 ft 4 in and too big to drive this comfortably.I have done nothing to it. It has a fiberglass body with original metal hood. A Dauntless V-6. 3 speed tranny, new tires and rims, new dual exhaust, a plow, frame is solid and painted, speedo works and shows 42,831 miles. I think the roll bar is for a CJ-7, has high back buckets, I did purchase a hard tin/metal top with glass windows and both metal doors with crank windows. Jeep is painted gun metal grey, top and doors are army green and top has lift back window. I drove it home and drove it once more to get the plow blade. That was almost two years ago. It had no battery when purchased and I used mine to drive it. So no battery in it. Put extra Stabil in tank with fresh gas, and fresh antifreeze then also. Asking $6000 OBO. Have more pics. None of top and doors yet. Email geno34bg@gmail.com. located in Custer, OH. NW Ohio”
“1958 Willy’s Jeep with only 46,000 thousand org. miles. It has been in the same family for 50 years and has been well taking care of. It has been in dry storage for eight years.
The engine was completely over hauled in 1994 and runs just like it did when she was new. ”

Check out this beautiful 1958 CJ-5 Fire Jeep that appears to have been owned at one time by Douglas Aircraft Company, which merged with McDonnell Aircraft in 1967 to become McDonnell Douglas. It will be auctioned Saturday, November 15, in Red Wing, Minnesota.
This appears to have a MB body on a CJ-5 chassis of some vintage.
“1945 Jeep MB military body. With a 231 Buick odd fire V6. It has 310 miles on it since it was gone through. Bored 40 over new cam new crank new pistons valves were done high volume high pressure oil pump new water pump new fuel pump. Electric fan along with the mechanical fan for cooling. Trans had all new gears put in transfer case was replaced with new one with large idler shaft. Had new gauges put in had some high back bucket seats with shoulder and lap harness put in. 8000lb winch with remote. Has electric wipers, electric fuel pump along with the mechanical one, heater, a set of mag rims and tires go with it. New top, lots of other stuff was done just to hard to tell it all. Sweet running old Jeep if you are in to that kind of a ride. This was all done in 2007 and it has sat in a garage ever since except to take it out to license it and out on some of the trails around Morgan.”
“951 Willys Jeep, at least that’s what the title says, TX title in my name with antique plate. Was going to be a father son project but quickly we realized neither of us knew enough about vehicles to tackle something like this. We got it from my brother-n-law who spent about $3,500 on it to get it running, I have the receipts. Engine seems to run good and doesn’t smoke; we can drive it around the neighborhood. I’ve never tried the 4-wheel drive; none of the lighting works, lots of play in the steering, starter catches and starts the engine about every 3rd or 4th time. We put new tires and shocks on the rear, front tires are good. Has a death wobble in the front left wheel at about 25mph, thought it was bearing related so I installed new bearings, didn’t fix the wobble. Hopefully someone with knowledge of this thing will take it off our hands and have fun with it. I’ve got no idea the value; I’d just like to recover the $2200 we have in it. Bring cash, come haul it off.””
