Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (05/10/2014) This unusually colored CJ-5 comes with a rear PTO. Seller listed the motor as a flathead, but obviously is a f-head.

I’m confused about the prices. In the title the price reads “$4000”, but in the text the prices are different.

Extras include five extra wheels and excellent tires. Also has rear bumper tow package with rear tire and jerry can carrier. Perfect for ranch, hunting, trails, and/or tow vehicle. Glenn learned more about this jeep (commented below). This post-hole digging CJ-5 includes two oil tanks mounted along the sides.
“We have a old cj jeep 4×4 with a heavy duty post hole digger mounted on it. Everything works, and is ran by the drivers seat. Runs great.. Call me if interested.”

Black Jeep ran strong and plowed great. Went to start it one day and couldn’t get it going.
Don’t have the time and money to invest in diagnosing and fixing the problem.
Red Jeep was bought for parts. Was told by a family member that had owned the jeep previously that the engine was rebuilt.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1800
It’s a little funky, but runs and drives.
“CJ5 Pickup 4cl OHV 90 HP. New brakes,& shocks Ing.carb. 6ft snowplow. $1,800. OBO”
This is a flattie body on a CJ-5 frame.
“This is a 1953 JP 3J (CJ3A) body on a 1972 CJ-5 chassis and running gear.
It has a Buick V-6 (odd fire) I believe it’s a 225 ci. Mid 60’s engine.
The body is straight and the pan has been replaced.
This is a solid Little Willy’s that runs and drives great.
Rear axel bearings need to be replaced. I have a complete set of Seals and bearing that go with the sale.
It also comes with a Road-master Explorer folding tow bar.
10/32-16LT Super Swampers on steel wheels. Lots of tread left, 80-90% roughly.
