About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“I have 2 jeeps that are in good condition and can be brought back to use. One is a late 40’s and the other is early to mid 50’s. Don’t have time to work on them anymore and would rather them be used than rust. “

The Jeep is in excellent condition. The engine and the interior has been redone. The jeep has been modified a little bit. Originally the shifter was next to the steering wheel, but has been moved onto the floor as you may notice in the photo below. It has the original stereo. However, we added stereo speakers which are installed under the driver and the passenger seats.
First gear tends to have problems because it’s out of sync. So if you’re trying to shift into first gear from second gear, you need to either come to a complete stop; or raise the RPM to allow it to slide into first gear. Other then that, the jeep runs very well. The jeep has a hard top and a bikini top included. You can also lower the front windshield onto the hood. “

“1966 CJ5 Jeep with the oddfire engine, hardtop and bikini top. This jeep was used by my family in the orchard and for hunting/fishing for years. The owner died and it sat for a long time and then it has been passed around the family getting fixed up. The engine is strong and it is a fun jeep but it does need some work. We just had our second child and don’t use it anymore.

Dave spotted this article about a 19 Year Old Iowan name Matt Goode who repowered a CJ-5 with electricity for a FFA (Future Farmers of America) project. I have to say that’s a nice choice of rims (not that I’m particle or anything).
