About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
This is a project, but if the body is in good shape, it might make a good project.
“1969 Jeep Willis, clear title, runs great. We have all the parts to the jeep but a couple were taken off so that it could be primed. Jeep is in great shape. 985-969-1781 or 985-969-8341”
Though advertised as a 1953, this doesn’t look like a 1953 M-38A1. It’s either a combo jeep or a later model CJ-5.
“Old Willys Jeep Runs Great, 4X4 works Good, NO BRAKES, Needs restored or can be used as a hunting vehicle or Mud Buggy. Needs floorpan work, has patch panels in it now. A little rough around the edges but restorable, Would be a good conversation piece if you own an army surplus store I guess. Would consider trading for VW Beetle or Bus or any pre 1981 Car or truck, No tools, No Boats, No Motorcycles”
The hydraulics on this are interesting, including the rear PTO shield.
“SELLING MY FARM JEEP WITH 12,000 ORIGINAL MILES. HAS FRONT PTO WINCH, HYDRAULICS FOR FRONT OR REAR TO USE FOR LOG SPLITTER, SNOW PLOW, REAR MOWER ETC. PURRS LIKE A KITTEN, TWO OF THE PICTURES SHOW THE PUMP UNDER THE HOOD AND PUSH PULL KNOB ON DASH FOR THE HYDRAULICS. HAS HAND THROTTLE WHEN USING THE PTO’S. I HAVE A FAIRLEAD FOR THE WINCH BUT WILL NEED REPAIRS ON IT. ABOUT ALL THE ELECTRICAL WORKS. FRAME IS NICE AS SEEN IN ONE OF THE PICTURES AND BODY HAS RUST BUT STILL HAS LOTS OF LIFE IN IT. LEAKS A LITTLE OIL, THATS ABOUT IT. I’M LOOKING FOR A POLARIS RANGER OR M151 MILITARY JEEP. IF YOU MAY HAVE ONE. I’M 40 MILES NORTH OF COLUMBUS, OHIO NEAR PROSPECT, 43342”
Hog forwarded this auction. Bidding just ended on this CJ-5 previously owned by Bing Crosby, reaching a high of $5850. I suspect it will be back on eBay at some point.
“Barn stored since 1973. Perfect running condition. Originally used on Rising River Ranch by the Crosby Cattle Co. Owned by Bing Crosby from new until 1973. All original, but seats and turn signal assembly. As you can see in the pictures the cosmetics are not perfect, but are easily fixed. This thing could climb a wall! She’s ready to go and up to date on all paperwork. Pink slip in hand.”

“1966 Jeep with aftermarket solid top, standard on column, 4×4, 4 cylinder, with 6′ MANUAL angle, hydraulic lift plow. This is a project Jeep, does NOT currently run. Needs work, Engine re-built but NOT installed, Needs starter, alternator, battery, etc… to run. This is a cool little Jeep that would make a great winter project.”
“1964 Jeep CJ5, 4 X 4, manual transmission, 4 cylinder, all original. This jeep was sitting for a while and will need some work to get it running. I am firm in the $1,000 price, dont call if you want it cheaper than that. 786-556-3668”
It might be the carb or a fuel pump. I suspect the problem is cheap to solve. This might have little or no rust.
“1955 Jeep CJ5. 4 cyl “F” head engine, manual transmission and 4 wheel drive. It is mechanically in good condition other than a current carburetor problem that allows it to start but not continue to run. It is currently in storage near Alva. but is priced F.O.B Oklahoma City. Asking $1500, or make offer. 405-833-7217″
“I HAVE A 1969 JEEP CJ5 2 WHEEL DRIVE ( two wheel drive with a straght axle with leaf springs) IT HAVES A STRAIGHT FOUR CYLINDER (THE ENGINE BLOCK IS CRACKED) AND STANDARD TRANSMISSION. lift kit and straight body. Brett spotted this find. It appears to include an overdrive, so this might not be a good price. It even runs.
“Very cool Jeep CJ-5, Runs and drives but needs a tune up. Way fun to drive and would be an awesome muddin’ machine. This jeep is rare as in its the old military style. It is a manual and has the 3 little shifters along with gear shifter. i dont know much about it come and buy it today!”
