About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Unclear how the seller arrived at the above price. The seller claims the jeep has only 10,000 miles, but this jeep has had some body work and has a few mods, so the year and mileage isn’t clear. My guess is an early 1960s with an early Tux Park package. No description provided.
“Selling over 20 year collection of Willys CJ parts. Several flat fender parts and cj5 parts. F head block and head, pistons, rods, turned crank, never installed, l head parts, block head, miscellaneous, m38 body and frame(body rough), v6 Jeep frame and axles, several front and rear axles, steel top for cj5 v6, radiator for m38 or cj2, several bodies, rough, transmission/transfer, windshields, new brake parts, far too much to list. Price is firm. Suggest you come and look first and then bring a trailer if you decide to buy. Will take me hours to dig it all up. Getting older and trimming down my project list.
All cj stuff to go.”
“1957 CJ5. Total restoration just finished after 5 years. Engine professionally rebuilt with a 30 overbore. Pretty much stock. We put in a modern 12v alternator and starter…Jeep was originally 12v. Seats are original (I reupholstered them). Everything works and it drives as it should. Not a museum quality restoration but pretty darn good. I have a clean title. 100 miles +- on the restoration.”
“63 Jeep I bought with intentions of building a toy. The engine is not in it but comes with it. The title has been lost but you can send off for a replacement title. I didn’t need one because I was building a off-road toy. Too many projects, not enough time. $800 obro”
“I’m closing out my car collection and offering this ’63 Willys Jeep Tuxedo Park. It runs great and drives well (for an old Jeep). It is equipped with a Warn overdrive. I had a lot of upgrades done to this vehicle in the past two years. Some of the more important ones:
Completely new brake system, upgraded to 11 inch drums which greatly improve braking
New wiper motor
Some steering components replaced as needed
New tires (still look new)
New exhaust system
Seats reupholstered
Parking brake shoes on driveshaft relined
New pinion and axle seals
Wheels powder coated. They are the correct 16 inch size
Front floor pans replaced and coated with Rhino Liner
Hard top appears to be factory or dealer installed. Roll bar added
Odometer mileage shows 56,607 as of this date. Speedo/odometer works but I don’t know if this is the actual mileage or not.
This is a Tuxedo Park model. There were few produced and not many left that haven’t been repainted or modified. The T.P. was a trim option which included special body color (Indian Ceramic), chrome bumpers and hood hinges, special tail lamps, color-keyed steering wheel and a few other items. If you want more info on the Tuxedo Park consult the Kaiser Willys website, kaiserwillys.com
