This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Roger shared these pics of an air-cooled engine he has. He showed it off at this year’s Willys Rally. It’s an air-cooled engine with “WILLYS” cast on the valve cover and intended for use as a generator, though he was told it was the same engine used in the M-274 Mule.

Steve spotted this block. Maybe someone can use it?
“I have for sale a used 1954 6-cylinder Kaiser Darrin 161 CI (2.6L) Willys Hurricane F-head bare cylinder block. It has the main caps and does have some surface rust from sitting. It appears that the cylinders have been bored .020 over as they measure 3.30” from the standard 3.10” bore. Other than a broken exhaust manifold stud just ahead of the #2 exhaust port, this block doesn’t appear to have any issues at all and it has all 4 original main caps and bolts. I would like to get $100 for the block plus shipping if needed. Local pickup would certainly be preferred but I can ship via truck freight.”

“Was running engine pulled from a ’52 or later Willy’s. Its only missing the carb and the distributor cap. Otherwise is complete with bellhousing. Will accept reasonable offers, no delivery. Has been stored with oil in it, intake manifold covered, and plugs in the head so it is a running core. You will need to pick up.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $600.

UPDATE: Some engines still available: Willys M38 M38A1 CJ-2A CJ-3 CJ-5. They also have a variety of older jeep parts, including radiators, grilles, windshields, seats, and more.

“Just pulled out of a Willy’s jeep it was in. Runs good no issues, comes with Willy’s adapter new clutch and belhousing. Believe this fits many skid loaders, and other equipment also.
Maybe some parts value? Unclear whether they are f-heads or l-heads.

UPDATE: Thanks to Mark for correcting me. I thought that was a head (black color), but it’s actually the standard exhaust.

“I have a 1962 230 OHC straight six tornado engine made by Kaiser it has 5000 miles and is broke in, replaced one oil pump drive gear. It is a good running engine for a willys jeep or other project also have the machine shop receipt”

This may be aWWII engine. Most interesting is the custom exhaust. I wonder what carb intake setup was used.
