About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Have a jeep cabover project thats not going anywhere.Thought if someone wanted to continue.. Have put a small block chevy engine and 4 speed manual. cab is in great shape. No rust. Great platform to start an awesome project..”
“This is an original fire dept truck, ole no.5, it shows 22k miles,i think they are right but you be the judge,it does need restored. If I prime it it will run,I think it needs a fuel pump, carb rebuilt,it does not smoke ,the brakes are down, the hydraulic pump on blade does work,This is original paint so it is not like you are going to run into anything hidden,it does have some rust spot, cab corner outside are good but are rusted inside, the inside bed has surface rust, but no holes,The windshield is broke but does have a good one to go in,tires are good, doors fit real nice and tight,The front drive shaft is out and I know nothing about the 4 wheel drive, the seats need redone,,I took the original off, springs are good, the tail gate works fine and not all dented up,Now just think about it wouldn’t this be a neat truck for a plow company advertisement,,It is for sale locally,,”
“I found this sitting in a field here locally in Enterprise very good shape for sitting outside for so long but is by no means a perfect 10 . This would be a good base for a restoration project or just a good all purpose work vehicle around the farm or ranch or whatever. I have got the unit sitting at a local shop where it is currently awaiting some repairs, work done so far rebuilt carb, fuel filter, oil change, new spark plugs, distributor repair, is awaiting front brake repair for they are alittle sticky. I have driven this but it will be a lot better when the brakes get repaired. It had some bad fuel in it and while most of it was drained it does run alittle rough but I feel as more good gasoline is added it will smooth out . It currently does not shift into third but am working to trace this problem out but it may not all get done by the time this auction is over. This jeep does put a smile on your face to drive just because its a great ol’ classic and you just do not see many of these that much anymore. I do have the title for it and it is clean.”
“Good luck trying to find another one like this. Even a project! RARE RARE RARE. This is the 170 model that has the larger 6 cylinder motor in it. Unlike the FC150, this will do 50 MPH and is a blast to drive.”
“1957 Jeep Forward Control 150
A very cool unusual jeep. 95% complete, original engine, trans, t-case, narrow track axles 81″ wheelbase, 74″ bed with tailgate. Sheet metal is very very good. almost no rust. All surface patina type rust. A great start for restoration. Does NOT run at the moment. Title in hand. $2000.00”
“This is a rare, 1958 FC150 narrow track. It is in very good condition, being 95% complete and original. Odometer reading indicates just under 8K original miles. Body is solid with a few minor dents. F-head engine had the head removed and replaced by previous owner, with reassembly about 80% complete, and as such it is not running. This is a great vehicle for someone looking to do an original restoration since the vehicle is so complete.”
“THIS FC170 HAS BEEN RESTORED AND LOOKS INCREDIBLE. IT HAS A BRAND NEW GREEN METALLIC PAINT JOB. THIS FORWARD CONTROL HAS A FULL 9 FOOT BED AND IS A ONE TON SO IT IS EXTREMELY RARE! THE RIMS HAVE BEEN POWDER COATED.
MECHANICALLY THE HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER SUPER HURRICANE 6 MOTOR RUNS GREAT AND IT IS ACCOMPANIED BY A T-98 FOUR SPEED AND TWO SPEED TRANSFER CASE. THIS TRUCK NOT ONLY LOOKS GREAT BUT IS DESIGNED FOR GREAT FUNCTIONALITY AND USE.
THE INTERIOR IS NEW AND IMMACULATE! IT INCLUDES NEW HEADLINER, SEATS AND DOOR PANELS ALL IN GRAY VINYL. IT ALSO HAS NEW CARPET. THE FACTORY GAUGE CLUSTER AND AN UNMOLESTED DASH FINISH OFF THE CLEAN LOOK.”
“We have a rare 1958 willys fc 170. Cosmetically a little rough. Runs and drives. Would make a great restore project. Has working auxiliary pto on transmission, options are endless. Great farm truck or hunting wagon. Bought with lost title so there is no title. Four wheel drive works. Located in Pagosa Springs Co.”
