About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
(08/02/2012) “VERY good body!! No cracks in windshield and back glass, and as you can see… original tailgate stenciling is still alive and well! Even has an original equipment, “kerosene flair & flag kit!!” How cool is that?!? Engine (Original) has been started but will need a rebuild. If you’re not in the mood to rebuild… A perfect engine swap is the 60 degree V-6 Chev found in S-10 pick-ups and others.”
“This FC-150 has the engine and transmission out, and is ready for the re-power of your choice. Or, if desired you could easily find an original engine. The engine mounts have not been cut out. It comes with the original T-90 3 spd and T-case. It has an electric hydraulic dump bed.
This is the nicest FC-150 Body I’ve seen in the past 20 years, with all the cab corners in good shape. There is a small amount of rust through in the driver’s floor. And rust repair is needed along the front of the cab above the bumper, as you can see in the photo. The engine cover has been modified, and is ready for you to finish. A SBC was planned, but not finished, two owners ago.”
(12/29/2013) This FC comes equipped with a diesel.
“Up for sale is a 1962 Willys Jeep FC Forward Control Flat Bed Truck 4X4
Mercedes Diesel Engine pulled from a 1984 300D. Will drive and we’ve taken it up to about 50 MPH at which time the steering feels a little weird. Not sure if the steering wheel is loose or it just feels weird due to it being raised (37″ tires). Its definitely still a project with all the parts here & the major work already done. Registered in California through FEB 2015.
Known issues:
-4X4 Cable needs to be connected
-Drivers window is in door but doesn’t close
-Brake fluid leak
-RPM gauge is not connected
-Steering feels loose at high speeds”

“I have had many requests to sell the entire Willys FC150, so after discussing it with my son, we would be open to selling this and focusing our efforts on my late fathers 1974 F250 4X4 HiBoy with 30,000 miles so please email with any questions and I can send additional pictures if needed.
This Jeep has been stored in a concrete building since 1965 and I dug it out this past weekend so that I can start a restoration project of the body with my son. It belonged to my grandfather who owned a local shortline railroad and he used the FC150 as a service truck to repair locomotives. He had taken the engine out and rebuilt it but never reinstalled it due to a health issue. Over the past month, I have replaced the seals and painted the engine. I have also rebuilt the transmission and transfercase so the engine, transmission, and transfer case are completed, painted and ready for install.”
