About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Brett spotted this unusual FC with some interesting updates.
“1960 FC-170 pickup. Racing Head Service Chev. 350, built with low-end torque cam, rebuilt TH-350 transmission, NP-205 transfer case, front axle: Dana 44, Truetrac differential, rear axle: Dana 53, Willys Power Lock differential.fast and rusty. $3500 firm (435) 654-3270.”
“Early year FC 150 1957-58. All running gear is present. The original F134 4 cylinder is rebuilt but not installed. It has a reground crank and a standard bore. $800”
“1961 Willys FC 150 stakebody truck with 4 cyl. F head engine, 3 spd. trans., and 6 lug (disc brake front) rears. I don’t know the make of the rears or the ratio, but they are way higher than 538s. The engine is completely stock original and starts and runs good. No smoke. Needs the valves adjusted. The truck is driveable around the yard, but needs a master cylinder and brake hoses if you keep these rears. Lights, horn, and wipers work. I think I have stock rears if you want to restore. The cab is good condition for coming from Penna. Dash uncut and complete, drivers floor has had some repair, passenger floor needs repair, engine cover good. No rust around rain gutter, front corners some dents, rear corners need repair, but not that bad. Doors straight, but rust at bottoms. Winshield good, small wiper blade scratch in upper left corner. Back glass, vent glass good, plexaglass in both doors. Bed complete and straight, but rust in stake pockets. Stakes all there, one slightly bent, one rusted at bottom. Wood under bed is all there in good shape, gas tank is good, and rear weight is still there. I bought this rare little truck to restore because I thought it would be a reasonably easy one to complete, plus it was un-cut and all there. I have another FC ahead of this one to restore, have recently bought a MCI motorhome conversion, and a diesel Scout, so i’m letting this project go. Call 302-381-0959 with any questions, and I will do my best to answer them.”
“1957 FC 150 FOWARD CONTROL JEEP Truck runs and drives 4×4 works has lock out hubs Electric fuel pump, gm alt. The jeep has a excellent bed on it with tailgate and fenders. “1958 FC170, 6 cyl. (loose but not currently running), 9 ft box (fair condition / patches of rust on the box floor), the rest of the body is pretty solid and complete with original glass. The truck is rolling, we haven’t had the time to dig into it much with our willy truck projects. The motor was running the year before we bought it, the drivetrain is all moving freely and looks quite serviceable. We have the title and if it helps can provide the ID#. We can take any additional photo’s you might like of the jeep and happy to answer any questions. From what I understand there were only 15,000 of these made during the production run, there’s still a lot of truck left in this one for someone looking for a good project.
(11/02/09) It sounds like price is at least somewhat flexible. Must Sell.
“1960 Jeep Willy’s FC-170 Flathead 6 cylinder. Runs, needs restoration. I love this truck dearly, but our house needs a new roof! I’d like to get around $2,000. for it, but will take best offer. Must sell now!Call Mike at 510-593-5860”
“1963 FC170, origingal straight 6 cyl L226 engine, runs, good running gear, back registration paid, currently non-oped, some spare parts, will need brakes $3850”
“This 1958 Willys FC150 cab over engine stake bed jeep has been sitting for a few years.
It is not running now, but it is not mechanically broke. It is a 12 speed with a PTO. It has reversed rims for stability, and could be a good workhorse for someone, or show jeep. The jeep is located in San Ramon, and you have to call to see it. It is a FC150. I’ve priced it to sell because I need the space.
