About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
1958 Jeep Willys FC-170 Dually Stakebed $3,750 Terre Haute, IN
Andy’s Picks
fc drw stakebed
Information from seller:
I know its not a wagoneer but FB doesnt have an entry for FC170s. Old school Jeep FC170DRW, heavy duty version of the Jeep FC. Was an old farm truck. Missing transmission and transfer case. Cannot test engine but it is still there. Great project truck. Comes with clean title. Ask any questions you may have.
Cool piece, might make a great addition to your project, has a really neat shape and style to this.
Information from seller:
1940s wrecker boom and sling only. The hand crank winch is missing. I believe it is a Marquette, but not 100% sure as it is missing the ID tag. $1250 cash takes it home. Located just a few miles north of Perry..
There is a thread on OWF for this one, but hey its out of its resting place.
Information from seller:
Cab is very rusty but savable if you’ve got the skill and time. Bed is completely shot. I still have what’s left of the tailgate and bedsides. Inline Four – Willy’s “Hurricane” Engine T90 – 3 Speed Transmission Glass is in decent shape minus a few chips. Door skins are falling apart but the doors themselves are salvageable. Axles roll as needed. Haven’t touched the engine or transmission yet but feel free to toy with it. Message me with your needs for parts. Price is OBO for the entire Jeep. Delivery can be organized, you must have something to pull it off. NO TITLE: working on that currently.
1962 Willys Jeep FC-170 Dually Stake Bed Scottsdale, AZ
Beautiful FC170 Stakebed in AZ was sent over by John via email to post@ewillys.com
Complete nothing left untouched from what the photos show high level restoration, really sharp looking FC170 Dually.
If you are looking for a real gem this may me the one you have been waiting for.
Also has some great photos of the frame and undercarriage for record if your doing an FC170 worth checking out.
Looks to have a PowrLock out back as well, not sure on the Ratio, I feel the 226’s came with 4.88 pretty standard. This could benefit maybe from an OD if cruising down the big road. That would be a fun project in an FC to get that linkage sorted out.
One question for either John or the group what is the Dock Height of the rear bed? Can you back up to a modern day loading dock and use this? I know out my way there are some old school feed stores where they have pick up truck height that is much lower then they have a much taller call it standard dock height. Find a practical use and put another 50k miles on this rig! A driven Willys is a happy Willys!
Information from seller:
Nut and bolt restoration in progress. Chassis and drivetrain completed. Over $80,000 invested at this point. You can continue the project for a fraction of my cost. This vehicle is 1 of only 1134 produced. It has less than 50,000 miles and minimal body rust. All original numbers matching Pugnose jeep. Everything showing wear was replaced or rebuilt. I only have knowledge of three existing today and none restored to this level of originality. Let’s talk about price.
Neat FC with some history up for grabs, these must have been cool to ride around in on the rails. Looks like it’s there, needs a new home.
Information from seller:
1962 Jeep FC170 · Truck · Driven 29,000 miles Former Railroad Hy-Rail truck, shows 29k miles, currently doesn’t run, ran 7+ years ago, turns over, has compression, no windshield(son broke it playing hide an go seek, was on a shelf wrapped in two moving blankets!), front 2ft of bed floor is missing. 95% rust free. Was told that a donor truck was used for parts to repair rust, pretty much just needs “minor” body work to get into painting condition, interior needs work and is in the bed and boxes but seems to be all there. There is an extra door and tailgate. All parts seem to be present besides the windshield. I do have some Hy-Rail gear available but it is not original to the truck and will require fabrication to attach to the truck. Same ole story. I had hopes to take on this project but 5+ years later I still have barely touched it. Has been stored inside since I got it. Kids and my own business take up all of my time. Time for it to move on I guess. Open to reasonable offers. Brownstown, IN
Barn Find in Indianna-hauled it out ourselves, bought it from 2 owner, have original title in hang, spent its life on small farm for wood cutting and hauling. Doesn’t run currently, has extra doors, glass and PTO winch is massive on rear, we bought the Jeep to restore but decided to restore a different vehicle – typical rusted cap and corners- greet bones and drivetrain to restore. We are recovering our funds- these are hot and collectible- in any condition- won’t reply to BS- come with cash-
1966 FC170, Willys was bought out by Kaiser Jeep Corporation. One of the last FC’s produced the US. Flathead six Super Hurricane motor,, 3 speed manual, 4X4. the guy I got it from, drove it into a hanger and dismantled it for paint. (motor is good) I have all Glass, weather stripping, fresh recovered seats and all new interior panels cut out of masonite including the headliner. Great project and worth good money when finished. I have 2 more Willys FC’s that I have restored. They are for sale also. I am 74 and time to sell some toys.
Truck ran when we bought it, needed a clutch. Pulled apart for clutch replacement and haven’t had time to finish. Lost interest in the project. Removed the windshield to inspect the frame, not in bad shape, easily repairable.. truck is still all apart, needs tires but can be rolled on the ones we have for it. Sold as is with a bill of sale.
1964 Jeep Willy’s M677 Navy issue. 1 or 30 known left to exist. This is a 4 door 4×4 military Jeep truck produced for 1 year. Original engine and transmission are no longer in the truck. I will not take more pictures. If you are interested in the truck you can arrange and appointment to view it. Jeep Forward Control FC150 FC170 Military Truck
