About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

Worst parts of the frame are shown in the pictures. Comes with post-war running L-134 engine with new upper end gaskets and head studs. The T-90 I know nothing about except it came with another Jeep I bought. Seems to be complete with transfer case and emergency brake.

“I have what is titled as a 1947 Ford GPW. This Jeep has sat for the last 10 years. It was reported as having the transmission quit, the motor turns but the carb needs rebuilt/ replaced. This is a Las Vegas Jeep and has only minor rust. I started to tear down this project but life has gotten in the way. I was going to restore this back to it’s former glory! I have many of the needed parts to get this back on the road”
There’s a tag suggesting this was a reconditioned jeep at some point. It’s likely a mix of GPW and MB parts, along with some civilian/other parts (such as the rims, seats, bumper).
“Beautiful restored. Runs perfect, 5527 original miles. Engine was overhauled at 4121 miles. New exhaust, new military rims with new 6 ply Firestone tires. New 12 volt starter, new canvas top, custom roll bar, new mirrors, new radiator, new carburetor, new springs and shocks, transmission is a manual 3-speed, engine is a L-34, 4-cylinder. All new stickers.”
“PRICE REDUCTION!!!! I’m still selling my two Gpws 1942&1943. Again It comes with two bodies, two motors (one decked and bored) an engine rebuild kit. New front seats new gas tank. An extra frame that’s been sandblasted already, three hoods ones been and blasted. One Jeep has already been taken apart. One transmission. Axles. And 5 brand new tires. I have lost interest in the project, and I need money for school. I’m just trying to get back what I have into it. $5000 obo for everything. I might be willing to trade. I also have some small accessories like a water bucket. I also have the capability to transport it to anywhere in the South west part of the US. In and Surrounding Colorado. For an extra cost depending where. I’m not really not wanting to part it out and want it all gone at one time.”

1942 Military Jeep Willy
4 cylinder Chev motor, which runs. Transmission is bad, but there is a good replacement transmission included, ready for install. Flip-back headlights so you can work on engine at night. No paperwork. Tow ready. Pick up in Live Oak.”
“My grandfather restored it back in late 90s and got it about 95 percent done. He got sick and it sat in his garage for 20 years. Not a numbers matching jeep and I am in the process of getting a title. Most everything was rebuilt engine axles and trans. Runs and stops. Steering is tight. Last year at Halloween we were pulling a hay wagon around and something in the rear end let loose. Only moves in front wheel drive. Entire jeep was taken apart and sandblasted no rust. Make me an offer.”
