Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. It’s a 3 speed manual trans with manual steering, brakes, and 4×4. The tires are 32 inch bfg all terrains and are in great shape.”

“The engine turns over but the Willys does not drive. My mechanic recommends a new (used) engine, steering rod needs re-welding, and the brakes need to be looked at. The body needs touch ups but overall the body is solid, soft-top is in good shape, I installed a new battery in September 2017. I’m asking $7000 for it as is.
