About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“I would like to sell or trade my 72 Jeepster commando. It runs and drives and is registered as an antique. It has a strong 304 V8 that was supposedly rebuilt by the previous owner. It’s a 3 speed manual trans with manual steering, brakes, and 4×4. The tires are 32 inch bfg all terrains and are in great shape.”
“1948 Willys jeepster, runs great, V8,(350cid), 350 Auto Trans, power steering, power brakes, very good runner., newer tires and wheels. So the wife has put her foot down and demands it has to go. lmao,,she is so cute when she demands…lol,,,,but she is right, its time to get rid of it, sooo, i lowered the price $2,500 and now am really serious about selling it, (not so much before).
This is a Very Fair price for this car. I wont kid you it needs a few things to make it perfect, what doesn’t. I am out of room and time. I cant do it, i would, believe me.
$12,500, or $10k cash and a really nice $,2500k trade in along with it. (let me know what you got to trade) im open, no junk, no lowballers, no picky petes, i know what it is worth, most of all No Idiots.”
“The engine turns over but the Willys does not drive. My mechanic recommends a new (used) engine, steering rod needs re-welding, and the brakes need to be looked at. The body needs touch ups but overall the body is solid, soft-top is in good shape, I installed a new battery in September 2017. I’m asking $7000 for it as is. Please email for more pictures/info/questions about the Willys. Serious buyers/cash only.”
“This 1949 Willys Jeepster has: 4 Cylinder Engine 3 Speed Manual Transmission Power Brakes Power Steering New Black Carson Top Butternut Yellow Paint The Jeepster was an autombile originally produced by Willys-Overland Motors from 1948 to 1950. It was developed in hopes of filling a gap in the company’s product line, crossing over from their “utilitarian” proto SUVs and trucks to the passenger automobile market. The basic model included numerous deluxe features and interior fittings in addition to a high level of standard equipment that cost extra on other automobiles.”
“nice Willys Jeepster, 1950, rebuilt 4 cyl.engine , 3 speed with working overdrive, almost new top and side curtins, good tires and brakes, a good fun driver, some rust on chrome trim, good solid frame, with some lower body rust, not bad for a 68 year old car.”
