About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Includes a winch. The hubcaps give this jeep a vintage feel.
“Runs great everything works well. It has the original 4 cylinder engine. It has a clean tile and is registered. Model number M38A1. The wench is super nice. Contact Jason for anymore questions. I can deliver the jeep to you for your convenience for an extra fee.”
If the winch is included, this could be a great deal for the right person.
“2 Jeeps For Sale 1 is a 1951 M38A1 and other 1 is a 1952 or 53 M38A1. the white one is taken apart as i was going to put Jeep Wagoner axles under it with stock YJ springs. I have the frame and all parts to put back together. Medical issues forced me to stop working on project and have to sell. Both tubs are in pretty good shape for age.

“This Jeep is a true military version, with the original green paint showing through beneath the yellow repaint.
The hard top is authentic, as are the wooden doors which I have included photos of a restored jeep with the same top and doors.
My Jeep has been parked for many years, motor is stuck, brakes not working, but this is pretty complete.
Minimal rust
I only have a bill of sale, as a past owner lost the title many years ago.
Possible trades, in no hurry to sell”

“This jeep is in good condition, drives great. Resealed fuel tank, NATO/European jerry can, good rubber, brakes are good, fresh paint and stars are new…..A general clean up and ready to parade. Converted to 12 vt.”
Could be a good M-38A1 for bringing back to original.
“This M38A1 Willys Jeep is in great condition. It runs and drives with no trouble. It has a newly rebuilt engine, transfer case, and carburetor. It runs on a 24 volt system. It’s 95% original with a few parts such as the passenger handle in front of the seat that came from a CJ5. Brand new 6 ply tires and drum brakes all around. Seats are in excellent condition with no rips or tears. The only thing missing is the windshield wiper motor. I’m in the process of registering it so it will be road legal. It will be registered next week or the week after that. The DMV issues trip permits to unregistered vehicles so if you would like a test drive that can be arranged”
“This is a 1962 Marine variant M38A1. As such, it has the original stock front and rear lift rings, extended rear bumper, front/rear limited slip differentials and late model air cleaner. The entire vehicle was restored as an off-frame restoration with all mechanical and electrical aspects rebuilt. Jeep has 16,500 miles on it and runs as new. It was originally marked as USN in forest green but was restored with USMC markings. Most likely originally a Seabee jeep. Hood number is actual original. Asking $12,500.”
