About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“I have a hardtop roof with doors and tailgate that fits the early CJ bodies. Also, other various other Jeep parts, including a TH-400 AMC transmission with a Spicer 20 transfer case, a T-86 3 speed Jeep transmission and a large bore spicer 18 transfer case that fits the T-86 transmission. I also have the adapter that marries the T-86 transmission to a 225 Buick V6. There is also an engine to transmission adapter that I’m not familiar with.
Gas tank, $40 each
Front fender, $40
Hardtop roof, doors, tail gate, $500
Transmission, $40
T-case, $40”
Good luck fitting this on a flat fender without extra hardware.
“Old Jeep top, fits Cj Models 1940’s and up to 1974 Cj 3a,,Cj3a,,,Cj5 ,Came off a Cj 2a or Cj3a ,I Think, all there with all the hardware Too Brackets and Such,,Also have the rear door for the back, not in bad shape not beat up or rusty,Surface rust could use paint,,, a couple of side windows have cracks,Very solid top well Made,,Hard to Find Now Days”
It will need some work, but it appears to be an early windshield.
“Will fit Jeep Willys CJ2A. Not the best Condition, but still very usable. If you are a welder you can replace the sheet metal fairly easy, or just run it the way it is!
Has a windshield wiper and motor. Has cracked glass installed. Has the cowl to frame weatherstrip installed. A great option for your wheeler!”
“This hard top & doors came with my Willys CJ3B and I have decided I won’t be using it. Overall looks like it is in decent shape. Please see the pictures and ask any questions. Located in Buffalo Grove. It is aluminum and very light.”
“I have a 1950’s Willy’s Jeep Koenig Twin Stick Model 40 PTO, ID number WO48-202, WO48-201. It’s completely froze up. However appears to be complete. $50 firm. Give me a call (Leave a message if I don’t answer) or shoot me a text.”
UPDATE: As Keith points out, it’s an f-head. But, that looks like a t-84 tranny to me. This could be a good find for someone.
“Selling my 1942 Jeep Willy’s motor, tranny and transfer case. Everything works perfect. Just pulled out cause I had different plans for the Jeep. Motor was rebuilt by R&Q in Selah less than 10k miles ago. Tranny is a 3 speed”
It’s a fairly rare top that appears in good condition.
“Full cab with removable doors. Aluminum in good condition for it’s age, not dented or trashed out. The door windows both cracked but are still complete.”
UPDATE: All the Digger and Trencher parts have sold. I’ll leave this up for now, as the breadth of parts still out in the wild might be of interest to someone. I believe Chris McKay also has some trencher parts.
“For Sale , extensive collection of Go For Digger, Auburn and Jeep A Trench related parts. Would be willing to sell whole lot in a package deal with the Auburn Trencher listed, or sell just the parts or sell all parts separately if anyone is looking for specific parts.
There were two NOS 40″ PTO shafts which I believe were correct for the go for digger and trencher units, one of the shafts has been sold. The other one is still available and in great shape with the exception of many years of shelf life, boots are excellent as is shaft ends and tube. Also the one mount pictured for the Dozer blade has been sold and one of the control valve units as well. There is also a Dozer blade and what looks to be the conveyor belt for a Digger for sale too.
I have attached quite a few pics to show whats included in the lot , lots of bearings ,seals ,creeper gears ,arms ,ring gears , speed reducers , and much much more . Everything I have is pictured but if your looking for a small specific part send me a description or picture and I will see if I have it in the small parts bins. As mentioned I would be willing to sell entire lot but you will def need a full size empty truck as there is a lot of it there. I’ll listen to all reasonable offers on the Jeep and the parts lot and return all emails or calls .”
“Here’s the tub and front clip that I had planned to use to restore a 1947 CJ2A. I’ve had this on sale for about a year and I’d like to move it on.
Earlier this year my ad read: CJ2A body tub repaired with some alterations. Tail gate eliminated. Flat fender grill in good shape. Flat fender style hood in bar metal – straight but needs prep and paint. Good for custom build. $1,800 ($2.5K on eBay)
So at this point, I’m dropping my price to $1,000 (about 1/2 what I was asking) and if that’s too much for you, make an offer you’re comfortable with – no problem!
All of these parts are located in Winona, MN and are available for you to stop by and see about anytime.”
