About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Projects that were going to happen but didn’t. Willy’s windshield is original and perfect glass with mirror. Fold out hinges work. Windshield wiper holes at the top, driver’s side and passenger side. Seat frames are in good shape. Bed rails are in good condition. I haven’t seen too many CJ bed rails.
Oil filter is in good shape…no dents that I know of. I’m think they are CJ 2 or 3. 1948 ish. Tow bar is in good shape, only used it once.
The Moog parts are from 1972…I have the vehicle description plate. Would rather sell all together.”
“1949 Willys Jeep for sale, needs finished up. has new transmission and clutch, reman head, new distributor and starter, its not far from being done but I don’t have time to finish and have to have surgery so its time to let someone else take over. this jeep has a fiberglass tub so it will never rust. frame is in great condition not rusty. need to see in person.”

“I have many old CJ2A and CJ3A jeep extra parts to sell. I am cleaning out my shop and things need to go away. Have probably a complete jeep. Too many parts to list. Price varies on how much you want and need”
“Parting out a 1948 Willys CJ2A:
(1) Body tub: not rough, repaired and re-repaired, but a good solid restoration candidate, HAS good VIN tag, will be sold on a Bill of Sale for that / with that VIN tag number. No major damage, splits or fractures. All the damage is confined to the floor pans which will need replacement. There is some plastic in the body at the various previous repairs, but used as finish and not patch. All instruments will go with the tub, all footman loops installed, floor shifter cover goes with. $460.00
(1) left front / driver’s side fender, excellent, no rust $85.00 ****SOLD****
(1) right front / passenger side, good, will need minor repair, $75.00
(1) Willy’s logo CJ2A / CJ3A hood assembly with hinge, $260.00
(1) ’48 stamped grill, no turn signals or headlight buckets or trim. Footman loop is gone, grate is excellent $140.00
(1) Emergency brake handle, pully and support brackets $80.00
(1) Steering column with steering wheel, horn button and steering box, ..$200.00*****SOLD******
(1) Steering linkage from box to pitman arm w/ pitman arm, (no tie-rods / no bearings) $100.00
(1) M38 (low / early production ’49-50) windshield frame with retention clamps, no glass, otherwise a 98/100–surface rust only on this piece, very rare. $300.00
(1) CJ2A frame: front spring perches/arches are gone, that is to say that they were ripped off the front of the frame at the cross-tube assembly. No visible cracks at the stays or on the shock tower mounts. Back end has an over-sized hitch assembly mounted and welded to the frame in four places. Rear bumper is perfect, $500.00.
*I will discuss a package deal for everything, but I’m not negotiating by individual piece.
If you’re reading this add and the part you need is not listed I do not have it. I do not have any running gear for sale; no motor, no trans, no air intake / exhaust.
If you’re reading this add and there is no “sold” next to the part, I still have it.”
“Willy’s parts, front and rear differential, transmission and transfer case, body parts-not in great condition, other parts. Has 3 good tires. Rolling Chassis. No title, just parts.”
UPDATE: Tim wrote me to say he’d found some of these sitting unused outside his place of employment. Unfortunately, there was too little left of them or they were too far gone to restore. The ones they had were powered by Wisconsin air-cooled V4 engines. They also had stainless steel tanks for liquid usage. He was able to take photos of a complete one before they disassembled it. The company that made that sprayer still exists. http://buffaloturbine.com/ The sprayers look very similar too.
Seller is closing store and has jeeps and parts to sell.
“Hundreds of New and Used Willys/Jeep Parts mostly 1946 to 1970’s – most at or below cost.
Retiring – Closed our Store and now selling off all remaining inventory.
Some complete used Jeeps (CJ2A column shift, M38 flat fender, CJ5 w/304 V8, Pickups, Wagons, etc.), Tubs, fenders, windshields, transmissions, transfer cases, brakes, hubs, etc, etc, etc.”
“I’m selling an original body that came off a late-war Ford GPW Jeep. This is what they call an ACM2, or composite tub, so it would also be correct for your late-war Willys MB.
There’s no rust on the hat channels, no rust holes on the floor, toolbox compartments, fuel sump or pioneer indents. There are no repairs and no bondo. However, there are some minor holes, “character” dings, bends, and bruises that will need some attention. Overall, the body is in great shape! I’ll try to post some photos this Saturday, but you’re also welcome to come look at it in person.
Asking $1500 Sure you can spend a bit more and get a pretty reproduction, but who wants that?! With a bit of work, your WW2 Jeep will be original, not a replica, and it will be more valuable in the long run.”
* PHOTOS ARE FROM BEFORE I BLASTED IT! LOOKS MUCH BETTER NOW! JUST HAVENT TAKEN NEW PICTURES YET
GET READY FOR A HARD WINTER! I have a 7″2″ Meyers snow plow that came off a 1949 Jeep CJ3A for sale or trade! Plow is solid besides a few small holes, would be a simple patch weld repair, or just resurface completely. I have blasted the plow and thrown a coat of primer on and painted with miracle paint.
Your getting the complete plow package with the pump. $250 or trade!”
